It's not. The vocals are obviously slightly edited like every artist's official live performances, and she usually uses a live-recorded backing track in the chorus. Her voice is live, you can tell by how she overdoes the vibrato.
Did you see she's in the middle of filming a video in Barranquilla with Carlos Vives?
I know that's not your favorite type of music, but lol I'm so happy about getting new music (in Spanish!) from her that I've been commenting that with everyone
Yeah! I heard that !! I'm actually excited, it isn't my favorite genre, I actually dislike vallenato a lot (I'm all here for merengue/salsa/rock en español/ska but reggaeton, vallenato and bachata? i hate them tbh ) but I like Carlos Vives music lmao, I love his voice and his songs and flawless and I don't dislike Shakira as an artist, I mostly don't like her music because the genre not because I think she is bad, but she has done very bad decisions, like She wolf?? all that album? that song with Rihanna? nope, not here for that.
But Try Everything is really good tho and IA, her music in spanish >>>>>
Noooooo, She Wolf actually has some gems! It was a very divisive album and I'm not a fan of the whole thing, and definitively not crazy about the hyper-sexualized era, but I do enjoy She Wolf the song, Did It Again (probably one of her coolest videos) and the songs Men In This Town and Mon Amour. Lyrically, I think of Mon Amour as an English Si Te Vas, so it's one of my favorite songs of her in English. Most things about last era though... Including the video with Rihanna, no matter how hot it was... Yeah, nagl.
Anyhow, sorry for the rant! I feel you about Carlos Vives though. I'm happy he had an international career revival, because his music is great. I've been listening to Fruta Fresca a lot lately.
She Wolf, the song, is AWFULL, HORRIBLE, nope, I kinda like Rabiosa, but She wolf is the worst, my hate for that song knows no boundaries, she can do better than that !!
No problem with the rant lmao, and yeah, I'm also happy for his revival, I love La Tierra del Olvido, also I've been listening to Juanes and man, I re-discovered my love for La Camisa Negra, such a bop.
Nooooo x2. I can't stand Rabiosa but She Wolf is my jam. The Spanish version is a bit too silly for me even though I like it ("la vida me ha dado un hambre voraz y tu apenas me das caramelos" though... No wonder Jorge Drexler won an Oscar if he can make such high poetry, lol), and the music makes me want to dance. Rabiosa, I can't. Loca is better. Gordita >>>>>>> though. Gordita made me remember why I loved early Calle 13 so much. Their lyrics are so nasty but good and... I digress.
Ahhh, Juanes! Thank you for reminding me how I've been planning to listen to his first and second album again. I forgot how great his 2nd one was until Mala Gente came up on Spotify the other day. It's crazy how his songs were already big and then Mi Sangre and La Camisa Negra happened and then his fame skyrocketed.
