i always remember how stunning she is but can't ever clearly remember her acting in the movies i have seen her in

I've only seen her in two movies. I recognized her name and face but for the life of me could not remember which movies. And then I remembered how terrible sucker punch when I looked it up. Holy shit I had to look it up twice in the span of 5 minutes that's how badly I want to forget that movie.

Sleeping Beauty was also awful but for different reasons. Oh cool, a movie where girls "consent" to being raped by creepy old men.

yeah that sleeping beauty movie annoyed the fuck out of me and i only saw the trailer/read the premise. i don't like her film choices.

the only film i can think of hers that wasn't totally unbearable and she was charming in is 'god help the girl'.

but still a mess of a film. i can't make up my mind on her acting yet because all her roles have been usually drab.

If you're taking issue with my summary of the movie, it was rapey and creepy and gross and forgettable. Sorry I don't remember it to your standards.

You said it was a film about girls being raped. It's not about you not remembering it "to my standards" (wtf does that even mean, I didn't even like the movie) it's apparently you remembering a different movie altogether, because there was no rape in the film.

I saw the movie and I do remember a scene where and elderly man climbs on top of her drugged body and penetrates her mouth with his fingers. If you don't think that's not hella rapey than idk maybe we weren't watching the same movie. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. There was technically consent given in the movie but there wasn't exactly informed consent.

I get what you both mean - rape in the legal sense doesn't happen but assault does. Also she technically consents. However the creepy 'rapey' vibe exists in the film which obviously exists given the apt title of Sleeping Beauty, which in itself, is a creepy story.

I don't even know what movie that SB is, I just strictly remember ASOUE, Sucker Punch, and Legend.

It was an art house movie. Titillation for titillation's sake. Not much substance to it. Pretty rapey and creepy and gross.

I watched like half of this movie called Summer In February with Emily and the preview made it look like a sweet little love triangle period movie set in England and then like five minutes into the movie Emily was completely naked lol I was just like I was not expecting THAT

you know i don't think it's so much that she's making poor choices one after another, but it seems that after sucker punch she gets offered roles where she has to get naked or objectified.
i remember reading a blog of an actress who accepted a role where she had to get naked, then after that majority of her offers were sexual. :/

But maybe it was butthole b/c there re a lot of women walking around with matte nudes and browns that are the same color as buttholes
