A/N: Sungmin’s POV. I hope you guys didn’t forget this fic.
The same day Kyuhyun told me he couldn’t go out, he told me all the reasons why. First, he had to go get VISA so he can go to USA next month. Second, his mom wouldn’t take him to LGV.
Kyuhyun said:
Yeah, sorry I couldn’t go out with you.
Lee Sungmin said:
Oh… it’s okay!
Kyuhyun said:
So.. I’m going to LA next month…
Lee Sungmin said:
Cool, I hope you have a great time :)
Basically that’s what happened between him and I.
By the end of June, Donghae travelled all the way to LA to see his aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. So I spent my days with Shindong, until he came back around mid July.
One morning, someone peeked into my room without giving any notice in advance.
“Hi Sungmin!” Donghae practically jumped on me. “Sungmin!!!!! Wake up!”
I woke up just to see Donghae smiling. “What are you doing here?”
“You don’t want me here?” asked Donghae a little bit sad. “I thought you wanted to see me!”
“Oh please, you left me here with Shindong all bored and stuff,” I told him while stretching my body.
“Sorry, but to make it up to you, I bought you things from there.”
Donghae took out t-shirts, earphones, and candies from his bag. I just looked at all items with shock. Those were the things I needed; my closet lacked t-shirts, my old earphones were useless, and candies, no words to describe how I need sugar in my blood after boring days.
“Thank you, Donghae!” now it was my turn to bear hug him.
“No problem, Sungmin… but could you stop hugging me? I’m getting out of breath.”
“Oh right, sorry!” I stopped hugging him, and when he caught his breath, I hugged him again.
“Sungmin!!!” Donghae cried out loud. “I swear you act like a little kid.”
“I know you like this, so stop complaining!”

The D-day came; the day Kyuhyun travelled all the way to LA. Since that day, I’ve been receiving international phone calls, and not only that, strangers! My mom told me not to pick it up, just let it ring and all, but then, this stranger does not stop calling! Can’t he or she give up? Because I’m not going to pick it up…
So after a week of not answering it, I finally decided to pick it up and see what’s wrong with him or her. I waited for my cell phone to ring. At last, it rang.
“Hello?” I started.
“Hello?” a deep, unrecognizable voice talked.
“Hello? Hello? Hello?”
“Hello? Who am I talking with?”
At that point, I thought oh crap, I’ll just hang up. I hung it up and again, my phone rang. I gave it to my mom so she could talk with the stranger.
“Hello?” my mom answered. “Who are you?”
At that point, my mom made a shocking face and turned to look at me. She covered the speaker of my cell phone and whispered, “Kyuhyun.”
“what!?” I grabbed my cell phone from my mom’s hands. “Hello? Kyuhyun?”
“Why did you hang up on me? You’re mean!” Kyuhyun joked.
“I just… you asked who you were talking with, so I thought that was weird… sorry,” I blushed, even though he couldn’t see it.
Kyuhyun just laughed and then a big silence wrapped us.
“So… I’m in LA. How are you?” Kyuhyun asked
That was so weird, awkward and all other weird moments together.
“I’m okay, and you?”
“I’m fine as well. Here is too hot!”
“I can imagine, so tell me what did you do there?”
“Well… I did this and that… I’ll tell you when I go back.”
“Okay, promise?”
“Promise. I need to go now or I won’t have money to call.”
“Oh okay, bye…”
“Bye…”
But neither of us dared to hang up, I could still hear some sounds.
“Oh, by the way… no, nothing… bye.” Kyuhyun hung it up first.
What the hell was that? He’s being all awkward with me. Do I… intimidate him or what? I wish I did.
