hiiiiiii lj! i'm back home from bootcamp and california
i've already had so many cool experiences in my short 4 months in the navy. it's totally rad. i am really happy with my decision.
the only thing that sucks is that i am so far away from the people i love. it's so hard when shit goes down and you can't be there.
i have lots of new friends/acquaintances but no real friends yet. maybe 1 or 2. but no girl friends. that's ok, i got my VA girls and they are more than enough for me.
the people i work with are so fucking smart. my favorite thing about california so far is that i learn something new everyday. someone uses a word i've never heard, or i get better at my french (there are fluent french speakers that are helping me out), or kattner teaches me philosophy (he has a degree). it's really freakin cool.
the view.. oh the view outside my window. it's truly amazing.
my sister is preggers. crraazy. but her bf damion is awesome, i really like him a lot.
it's really good to be home for christmas.
