Neighbor (Juri Ueno / Ohno Satoshi) Chapt 18
A/N: Well, finally, in this chapter she’ll meet the other members. Mahaha And this chapter will be a little bit long. So, please be patient with me! Yoroshiku douzo~

Chapter 18
“What‘s with the documents and stuff…? I thought you were an author?” Ohno scratched his head, while going through Juri’s paper works which had been laying on the floor, messed. “Ah! That‘s mine! Hands off!” Juri grabbed it and place them inside a box. “Sheesh.. I was just helping you clean up…” Ohno pouted. “Well, you can clean that side.” Juri pointed. “Haaai~” Ohno crawled to the other side of the living room.
While rearranging the books, Ohno had come across a picture. “Ah.. Dare?” Ohno looked at the picture closely. He squinted his eyes, to see clearly. It was an old photo that had already started to fade. Ohno looked at the back side of the Photo. It wrote, ‘Ueno Megumi’ Eeh.. Who’s this? Ohno thought. “Juri-chan..” Ohno called. “Hai?” Juri stopped and looked at him. “Nani?”
“Anou.. Ne.. what‘s your full name?”
“Ueno Juri desu. Why?”
“Ah.. Iya… just wondering.. Anou..”
“Hai?”
“Who‘s megumi?” Ohno asked, showing the picture he was holding. Juri’s eyes widened. She wanted to say something but held back. “Ah.. I don‘t know anyone named Megumi.” Juri laughed a faint laugh. “Ah.. Then.. What about Ueno Megumi?” Ohno asked. Juri was quiet for a moment. Ohno looked at her, waiting for an answer. Had he asked the wrong question? “Ne, would you like something to drink?” Juri stood up and headed to the kitchen.
“Ah.. Juri-chan..?” Ohno looked at her curiously. Why did she change the topic? He looked at the picture and looked back at Juri who was hovering around the kitchen, fixing themselves drinks. Should I have asked? Was it okay..? Did I offend her?? Did I get her mad..???? Ohno started to panic. “Anou ne, Satoshi-san… Ueno Megumi is my mom...” Her voice cracked at the last few words. A tear rolled down her cheek. “Juri-chan..?” Ohno walked toward her. “Daijoubu?”
She held out her hand with the other covering her face. “Daijoubu! Daijoubu! I‘m fine!” She hurriedly walked to the sink and washed her face. “Ah.. Much better!” She wiped her face with a dry cloth. “Juri-chan..” Ohno sounded concerned. “Dead.” Juri suddenly said. “Hai?” Ohno raised an eyebrow. “She‘s dead. Let‘s not talk about it.. I‘m a private person.. So I like to keep it to myself.” Juri said seriously, looking at him straight in the eye. “H-hai.. Sumimasen.. I shouldn’t have asked..” Ohno walked out the kitchen.
“Anou… where should I keep this picture?” Ohno asked. “Ah, give it to me.” Juri replied
“Hai~” Ohno gave her the picture and continued cleaning up the living room. For some reason, he started to get an uneasy feeling toward Juri. Why does he feel so worried and concerned all of a sudden?
“Satoshi-san! No spacing out!”
“Ah, sumimasen…”

“Ah… im so bored. I wonder what is Riida doing…” Aiba sighed, laying on the sofa. “Anou ne, you called each one of us to come over your place just to tell us you‘re bored?” Nino asked, annoyed. “Well, I need company, so I called Nino-kun , Sho-kun and Jun-kun. But riida didn‘t pick up…” Aiba pouted.
“Ja.. Why don‘t we go over his place?” Sho said, grinning. Everyone gave a sly look when looking at each other. “Hai~ I‘ll get the food!” Jun headed to the door. “I‘ll get the drinks~ Beer okay guys?” Aiba went to the fridge. “I‘ll start up the car~” Sho took his car keys and headed out. “Then, I‘ll call riida ne?” Nino took out his cell phone and started dialing.
Beep. Beep. Beep
“Ah Satoshi-san, your phone is ringing.” Juri handed him his phone and a cloth. Ohno took the cloth and wiped his hand that had been dirty because of paint. He flipped his cell phone open and answered the call.
“Hai~ Moshi2 Satoshi de~Su”
“Oh-chan, Nino desu.”
“Ah~ Nino~ What‘s up?”
“Ne, the guys planned to come over and have a sleep over.. Is that okay?”
“Sleep over?”
“Hai. We‘re on our way to your house and will arrive in.. 10 minutes. Is pizza okay?”
“Eeeh? That‘s so fast! 10 minutes?” Ohno peeked over his shoulder, watching Juri paint the wall.
“Ah, guys.. I‘d love too.. Demo.. I‘m not at home. Well, I‘m at my neighbor‘s house, helping her paint her house… but, if guys are on your way, you guys can hang at my place, and when im done, I‘ll come over ne?”
“Neighbor‘s house? Painting? That sound‘s fun. Ah chotto I have an idea!” Nino said cheerfully over the other line.
“Ah, chotto!!!” Ohno yelled. He overheard Nino asking the others if they wanted to paint as well, and sadly for Ohno, they agreed.
“Ne, Oh-chan, we‘ll help out, tell you‘re neighbor that Pizza, Beer and pastries are on their way. Oh, and 4 additional hot guys as side dishes~! Jaa!” Nino ended the call before Ohno could stop him. He let out a heavy sigh.
“Who was that Satoshi-san?” Juri asked from the living room. “Ah, Iya, that was my friend.. They wanted to have a sleepover.. And stuff..”
“Sleepover? Uwa.. That‘s so nice. I‘ve never been to one. Chotto, aren‘t you a little too old for sleepovers. Are you 8 or something?” Juri joked. “HA HA very funny.” Ohno laughed sarcastically.
“Uwa.. This painting thing is soo tiring… if only there was more people…” Juri massaged her legs and fixed her hair. Ah! Maybe I can tell her that the others will come and help! Now is my chance! “Anou… Juri-chan..” Ohno nervously called. “Ah, Satoshi I‘m going to cook. What sounds good for now? Anything in mind?”
“Umm… What about.. Pizza, Beer, pastries and additional 4 hot guys as side dishes?” Ohno slipped. WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY?! “I never knew you have a big appetite.. Satoshi-san..” Juri looked surprised with what Ohno had just requested. “Pizza and beer is fine.. But 4 additional hot guys?? What? You‘re kidding right?” Juri looked at him weirdly.
“Ah, iya. I didn‘t mean it that way.. I ordered the food and it‘ll be here in.. around..”
Ding dong~
“Now?” Ohno looked at his watch. “Eeeh? You ordered secretly?” Juri walked towards her door. “Chotto ne~” Juri took a towel and wiped her face. Ohno grabbed her by the hand and pulled her. “Chotto Juri-chan, maybe you should.. Umm… get a little wash. You got paint on your cheek.” Ohno said. “Ah. Hai. Then.. Can you answer the door. Onegaishimasu~” She walked into her room.
As soon as she closed the door to her room, Ohno ran to the door and opened it. “I never said you could come guys!!!!!!” He yelled. “Are… you just wanna have her all to yourself ?” Aiba gave a cheeky smile. “ Well, at least we called. So, where is she?” Nino tried peeking over Ohno shoulder. “You can come in on two condition, help with the paint and no causing trouble! Got it?” Ohno said sternly.
“Hai..” the four boys pouted.

“Ah, Satoshi-san, I think I left my glasses outside.. Can you get it for me?” Juri opened the door, and slowly walked out with her hand out front of her. “Ah.. Hai.” Ohno stood up and took her glasses for her. He gave it to Juri and sat her down. “Anou ne.. Juri-chan..” Ohno spoke. “Hai?”
While Ohno continues to speak at the blind Juri, the other four just watch their conversation. “Ne, she looks cute ne?” Aiba whispered to Sho. “Yeah, not bad. But I thought she wears glasses…” “Is it the huge ones that Oh-chan is holding??” Jun pointed. “Ah.. Maybe.. So she‘s a nerd?” Nino asked.
“Am I crazy or do I hear noises?” Juri said. She took her glasses from Ohno’s hand and wore it. She looked around her room. Ah, Pizza… beer… pastries… and… Juri looked at the four who sat next to the food as they smiled awkwardly at her.
“Umm… What about.. Pizza, Beer, pastries and additional 4 hot guys as side dishes ?”
Ohno words suddenly rang in her head. Her eyes widened and she gasped. Chotto.. Let me see… Pizza… check …beer …check …pastries …check and… Juri looked over at the four awkward looking guys on her living room floor. And.. 4 hot guys as side dishes?!!
She abruptly turned toward Ohno. He gave her an awkward smile. She pulled him into the kitchen and sat him down at the kitchen counter. “You were serious about the 4 hot guys as side dishes?!!!” Juri freaked. “Oh.. So you thought that I was joking?” Ohno joked. “IM SERIOUS!!!!! Are we really going to eat those people?!” Juri asked.
“EAT?” Ohno choked. “No no no no no no no no! We‘re not eating them!!! They are my friends!” Ohno explained. “You brought your friends into my house?!” Juri glared. “No wait let me explain!!” Ohno tried calming her down.

“I wonder what are those two doing in the kitchen?” Jun tried peeking. “I don‘t know.. Quarrel? Maybe..” Nino answered. “Well, it is sure taking them time. When are we starting?” Aiba hold a brush and was ready to paint walls. “Maybe it was awkward for her seeing us in her house..” Sho said. “D-uh.. We came uninvited. We just stormed in.” Jun said.
“Just look around.. They haven‘t managed to paint one wall yet. They need extra horse power.” Aiba said cheerfully. “Don‘t you think she‘ll get upset? I mean, we invited ourselves over.” Jun said, sighing. “We should have called earlier..”
“Yada! Yada! Yada! Yada! Yada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” The four heard Juri screaming from the kitchen.
“What was that about…?” Nino looked at the others. “I dunno… they must be fighting..” Aiba said. “So.. When can we chow down with the pizza??”
“Aiba-kun..” The others sighed.
