I keep sitting down to write this blog, but I find myself at a loss for words. I have a lot of things to say, but I suppose I lack the energy to say them. Either way, here goes!
I went to Nashville this weekend to spend some time with my family. I fought with my mom the whole ride up, but the time i spent with my dad was nice. I even got to swing by the Green Hills mall! I stocked up on tubes of Kiehl's
Mango and Pear lip balms. I also had the opportunity to drop by the Juicy store, which was the pinnacle of my trip, since I've never actually been in one (I live in the stix :( ). I walked in just to look around and take in the atmosphere, but much to my surprise, I walked out with a brand new
Day Dreamer! I've always wanted one of these bags, but couldn't quite bring myself to drop that much cash on a purse. My grandmother apparently saw me drooling over it, because she marched right in and tried to buy it for me! I was having none of that, because I really didn't want her spending all of that money on me, but she is a very stubborn woman. After 10 minutes of arguing, credit card snatching, and confusing the hell out of the sweet girl at the register, we elected to split it 50/50. There was a mother's day sale going on as well, so I wound up paying around $50. I am now the happiest girl in the world! Of course, this wouldn't be complete without the doting unbagging pictures...
Other than that, I also received my Pink Studio 1737 from Dell! I'm loving it; it's been a long time since I've had a new computer. Any download suggestions?
I decided that I'm going to participate in the
Day Zero Project. I've been working on my list, and I've already accomplished a few things. I think it's a really cool idea, but 101 things is a lot. Hopefully I'll finish soon, and then I will make a sticky post with the list.
I think I'm gonna go get a bowl of ice cream and watch TV. Have a good night!
