what I've been listening to...
I haven't really bothered to listen to a lot of the "idol" releases lately e.g. Revolution, For Muzik, etc...here is some stuff I've been enjoying immensely (a good mix for all tastes!)
Twiny ~ Flutter: I don't actually think Twiny has any talent or potential lol, but this song is just bubblegum, old school kpop goodness!
B2Y ~ Jeez!: also a new group, and a mixed one at that, with a rather fresh concept - supposedly a retro disco/ABBA feel. idk. all I know is that I like this song, cheesy as it is, and I think they have nice voices. keeping an eye on these four
Vintage Vocal Group ~ Smooth: really sweet and relaxing song, this group has a pastel flavor. I'm also really digging the Mix-Style headphones the girl's sporting on the cover. been wanting for ages but just cannot cough up $50 for a fashion accessory (word is the actual headphones are sub-par). anyway, if you like this definitely check out Taru ~ similar sounding vocals, although I haven't finished listening to her full album yet
Astro ~ We will go: another new(?) mixed group, with a nice hip hoppy song - great beat, I really like this one. Sori is pretty in this mv
Lee Minki ~ Eternal Summer: a nice low-key summer song, really relaxing. also check out that dramatic kiss at the end lol...Kim Bum take note!
V.O.S ~ Beautiful Life: ok, an old one but I just discovered v.o.s and I love this song! not gonna lie, I still harbor a bit of a grudge for their dance battle win over SNSD last winter lol (dumb I know)
and...ok, ok, some idol songs after all. well just one. SHINee ~ Countdown: AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME SONG I LOVE THIS. ok. haha
TOP + Taeyang ~ Chingoo (Friend): I adore this song! I always thought TOP and Taeyang were the only important parts of BB anyway (best rapper + best vocal), so I love that just the two of them did this song :D and it's a great song. PS-did that TOP solo for 19 ever come out??? o.O it sounded really good!
