dong bang post!
I always have to periodically remind myself that my first and most favorite fandom is DBSK, so I feel obligated to post about them every so often...in this blog named for them, after all! lol
anyway, I feel that now is as good a time as any, not b/c of the massive lawsuit drama-llama or even b/c of their impending acting debuts (squee!!!) but I'll talk about those anyway. no, I feel the urge to post about DBSK right now because I, as a lapsed fangirl, just heard Stand By You for the first time, and it is LOVE
I really have no idea why I never listened to it when it came out. ballads tend to bore me, but I've loved all of DBSK's recent Japanese releases, I think? e.g. Bolero...love! but anyway, I was in the microscope room all dark and alone with my fibroblasts...sans iPod...so I started listening to some Seoulbeats playlists on imeem. I was on the June playlist and then Stand By You came on....oh my gosh! so good! bolero took me a few listens but this one I loved on first...hearing? lol.
my DBSK fandom has evolved greatly...their recent appearances really don't get me going much anymore, does anyone think Junsu has gotten less attractive??? ;;_;; jae as well >.< my love was briefly rekindled in April, but with hot-ass groups like 2PM around, and Suju looking oh-so-fly this year, I just haven't bothered to pay attention to dbsk lately :( also, Jae's voice does less for me now (T and after)...I think it's gotten more nasally (course, Yoochun's has been super nasally and annoying, imo, since everything after TriAngle! maybe Jae switched vocal trainers recently :P) but the minute I heard Junsu's voice in Stand By You....zomg, it DID NOT FAIL in melting me into a billion quadrillion pieces. instantly. gussssh I am so looking forward to his solo work???
which brings me to...dun dun dunnnn....THE LAWSUIT. aish. will his solo work still happen??? I don't think DBSK will disband, but this does throw a wrench into a lot of things. obviously HoMin are not being traitors, they are just trying to focus on their acting. but I wonder if the dramas will still happen if DBSK leaves SM or something, surely HoMin won't stay behind just for their drama roles?
blahhhh. idk what to think about this, except:
1) goddammit, Junsu better release some solo songs soon, with SM or not! and he better look this good (and cute) again :(
2) I really hope Yunho's soccer drama doesn't fall through :( he's the hottest member (imo), and Ara is just too gorgeous for words....
3) most importantly, DBSK as a group may not disband!!!!!! [not gonna lie, if you swapped Yunho for Yoochun in the two "factions", and it was JaeSuHo v. YooMin, I would not care if DBSK split up lol. as far as I'm concerned, Jae, Su, and Yunho are all I care about haha.]
but anyway. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly, without too many casualties :3 please excuse the incoherent, spazzy nature of this post haha
