first: sorry for my unannounced hiatus! did you miss me? obviously not, b/c no one left me any comments after the day of my last post :(
I've started working full-time lately, and I'm just so damn busy. I have work usually until pretty late, and getting ready for prom, graduation, writing my graduation speech...all kinds of crazies. BLARGH. I've been such a lapsed fangirl...haven't listened to a single track off Juliette! fail :(
anyway...I have tons and tons of stuff that I would like to comment on, but the one that most demands my attention is:

LOLWHUT
Jobros and Korea's favorite Wun-derr gerrs?
I'm posting this not as news, as I'm sure most of you have heard that the Wonder Girls will be opening for the new Jonas Brothers tour. But more as a reaction piece.
When I first saw the news on my feed, I experienced many emotions:
★ surprise/disbelief: cmon, who in the world saw this coming??? lol. totally out of the blue. Wonder Girls? Jonas Brothers?! *head spins* but upon further reflection, this is actually a hell of a lot LESS random than BoA and Flo Rida (*snort*), and the huge-ass joke that is Se7en thinking he is black (Lil Kim, BET, all that...)
★ excitement: this is simply ridiculous exposure for the WG. although I'm not a supporter of their American venture, this is amazing for them. I also heard they signed onto CAA,
like BoA? whoa-ness
★ impressedness (I KNOW THIS IS NOT A WORD, but I could not find a suitable noun to convey "feeling of being impressed). I was so impressed. SO IMPRESSED. how the hellll did JYP pull this off? first Perez and now the Jobros??? DAYUMM
★ horror. omg. horror on so many levels! lol.
1) yes, they are getting major exposure, but to....tweens with bad taste! lol. don't get me wrong, I think Nick Jonas is quite attractive and quite talented, but....yeah. haha. I'll refrain from further Jobrommentary (Jonas brothers commentary. yeah. don't think anyone who doesn't speak Elizabeth got that one). so...while they may be getting more fans, they're the wrong kind of fans lmao (imho). oh well, like all publicity is good publicity, guess any fans are good fans? o.O
2) OH NO, the atrocity that is Nobody will be exposed to so many ears!!! in engrish no less!!! AHHH!!!!!! so many impressionable young American tween minds...the first taste of Asian pop they will ever get is this?! what a poor choice. bleh. so many good Kpop songs...
3) and along with major exposure comes...major racism. bracing myself! hateful comments on Perez are just the tip of the iceberg....
next up: Tell Me and Nobody Engrish English versions very soon! full album in the fall which will eventually be pushed back to like February. Tell me too? interesting. I just really, really hope So Hot never goes English hahha. b/c while I think it's my fave song of the "Big 3," it's least appropriate for the American market lolol. MIMS can do "this is why I'm hot," but rappers are gangsta and supposed to say crazy shit about themselves. WG...lol. can't really go around calling themselves so hot, so cool, so fine XD
I *think* that's all I have to say for now. toodles, my stem cells are calling
