I AM SO ANGRY THAT I AM SPEECHLESS. IT'S LIKE MOST FUCKED UP DAY EVER.
1) PHONE LINE GOT DISRUPTED=NO OUTGOING CALLS, SMSES AND BBMS. FML I FEEL SO NAKED :( :( :(
2) WANTED TO CALL A CAB ONLY TO REALISE THAT WTF I CAN'T.
3) APPROACHED A LADY TO BORROW HER PHONE BUT SHE LOOKED AT ME SCEPTICALLY AS THOUGH I WOULD MAKE OFF WITH HER PHONE SO SHE OFFERED TO CALL FOR ME BUT A) STUPID IPHONE HANG AND B)BHER FRIEND ARRIVED AT THE TAXI STAND BEFORE THE CALL WENT THROUGH.
4) DECIDED TO GO DOWN TO THE CONTROL STATION TO USE THE BLOODY PUBLIC PHONE TO CALL A CAB. THE CAB DID ARRIVE BUT UNFORTUNATELY HE STOPPED AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD INSTEAD FML AND HE DIDN'T BOTHER TO CALL SO I HAD TO GO DOWN TO THE PUBLIC PHONE AGAIN. PISSED TO THE MAX COS IT WAS SO BLOODY HUMID (WHERE'S THE RAIN?!) AND IT TOOK AGES FOR THEM TO GIVE ME THE CAB NUMBER SO I CALLED AGAIN BUT CHOSE THE OPTION FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER. THANK GOD THE CAB WAS THERE WHEN I REACHED THE TAXI STAND.
All these negativity aside, it's been a great day cos I met up with Peiching and she thinks that my complexion has improved :D Super impromptu but she's free today! I told her we should meet up at the end of August too. There's not much of a variety of Sherilyn Kenyon's books at Borders why why why :( Managed to find one which I don't have, and bought a few Anne Rice's. Hope they don't disappoint! Since the cashier only took one voucher, I gave away the rest. One guy looked at me very suspiciously when I told him I'm not a staff while another couple was so happy that they said "god bless you" I don't know why. Didn't want to waste the vouchers you see.
Anyway Yanlyn, "25% off 1 full priced book" refers to those under the "literature" shelves only!! Means I didn't get the discount for the Sherilyn Kenyon one today. But I remember they gave us the discount for her books leh last time. Ugh. Oh and there's 20% off Dan Brown's 'The Lost Symbol'. I've waited soooooo long for the soft cover :D:D:D
