(no subject)
After 745634267 months (has it been 2 years?) of not meeting Gabrielle, we finally saw each other today! Poor girl sprained her ankle but still, it didn't deter her from going out instead of resting at home. Tsk. We went to Sephora's warehouse sale at Suntec and now I'm kicking myself for not getting Bare Escentuals stuff and Mineral Veil was selling at 2 for $40!!!! The eye kit was going for $45 only if I remember correctly :( :( :(
Then, quick lunch at Astons before going to town. Along the way I took touristy shot with the Singapore Flyer :/ Asked Gab to ask the bangla to help us take a photo but she didn't want to. Booo :/ Oh and she didn't have a Watsons card! Unbelievable man. I thought every girl would have it since it's like $5 for lifetime membership.
2 hrs++ at Sephora where half of my face was made up by Bare Escentuals and the other, MUFE. I love BE's get started eye kit!! Somehow miraculously their liner shadow stayed on my eyelids without smudging! How awesome is that when almost everything else other than MAC's liquidlast crease/disappear. I'll get their starter foundation kit too after my face clears up!
I like MUFE's Mat Velvet+ but it's quite expensive plus my Superfit is still >half full so nooooo. Unfortunately the mascara which the MUA used on my sparse lashes is totally cui. Other than being flaky, it's such a bitch to remove!! It took me 3x to remove the mascara completely using DHC's cleansing oil bloody hell >:(
Basically I left Sephora with different colours on each side of my face cos apparently peach blush on one side while pink on the other AND my eyebrows were obviously of different colours and shapes! But I didn't mind cos it was really fun and the MUAs are all so helpful and funny. Seems like there's 3 MUAs called Melissa and one of them is Melissa Lim. Is my name really that common :(
Miss Abdul is so cute! (: Love the Urban Decay lippie that she had on... I will get my hands on it soon. She is so "san ba"! We were teasing each other so much until her colleague asked if Gab and I are her friends.
"Can you talk without opening your eyes?" While she was putting on UD's 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil and somehow my eye would open when I open my mouth.
"This girl ah, really talkative."
She didn't mind me being so fickle about eyeshadow colours and shades of lippies and questions about blushes. Plus she totally understand us being students on a budget and still told us not to buy if we don't plan to use them. *cough*
Zomg can't wait to go back there with Sheryl and Gabrielle :D :D :D
