i went to look at another flat this afternoon. it's quaint in a way with a little kitchen area in the living room, a small--ish bedroom but with a built-in wadrobe and a good bathroom with a shower and a bath. the living room has a huge bay window which i can just imagine having my chair in. there's a also a fireplace which made me so happy and the ceilings are oh-so-high; i loved the light and airyness of it. we're going to give them the holding fee for it tomorrow then if they approve of our forms we have to fill out we can have it at the end of september. i'm planning things for it already. mum's going to take me to ikea which is her mothership to buy things. she bought us a wok from there already - an incentive for me to start cooking stirfry and yummy things.
