So I was bored and I decided to look at all the profiles on my buddy list (Don't act like you haven't been there, anyone who has, or reads a 'live journal' has done it.) Look back to 50 or 60 years ago. It was simple. no luxurys like color cameras or anyhting like that... yet america was stronger then than it is now. Over the decades america has been growing stronger, until about 20 years ago. thats when the down fall of america started. Blame it on americas youth or whatever, but i belive that technology has somthing, not all, but somthing to do with it. People were more honest back then, they actually earned a living. They worked hard to build this country up and then it is being ruined by people with no morals, and people that call "work" setting infront of a computer all day. If we "embraced" new technology, it would just make americans even more useless than they are right now. Your right, the great minds of the world dont come from america. they never did. Einstein, da vinci, ghandi... none of them came from america, and how do you expect great minds to come from america when our leader is a dipshit?

I also disagree with your statement "learn to embrace other feelings than just pleasent ones" - thats wrong. Learn to dig yourself out of those unpleasant feelings. Learn to live life the best you can, not moping around all day, get up and move on when somthing knocks you down. It doesnt take depression to let us know that we are alive. We just need to learn to be greatful.
