Dublin
Just been to Dublin for a couple of days with the mother (thought that was a truly stupid idea but turns out it worked out ok), I must say the city is beautiful and the few Irish peope we met were extremely friendly. For me the trip was really about getting my head together and putting some things into perspective, and I think I can safely say these things have been achieved!! :D
But the highlight of the trip to Dublin was not when the pilot (who I wondered if he got his license out of a lucky bag) gave us one severe landing or when my mother lost her boarding pass in the departure lounge or when boarding the plane, she nearly tripped over some wires and just about broke something, no these things come second to the fact that I loooooooooove the Irish guinness, this coming from someone who does not normally drink, to use my mothers words, if I lived in Ireland then I would surely have a drink problem!!! :)
And how lucky am I that in two short weeks, I jet off to Rhodes.....Woooooo, although to be fair I never paid for the trip to Dublin, how good is it to be a competition winner!!!!
