Krisbert Kronvention 2010
Ok, so i'm totally going to fail at remembering everything but here is a recap of my weekend at the Krisbert Kronvention.
Friday:
I worked until noon of Friday and then I rushed home, said bye to my cat and packed a few more things. Then my mom and stepdad came and picked me up to drop me off at the train station. They drove me directly into Boston so I could avoid the hassle of changing trains 3 times with all of my luggage to get to South Station (Thanks mom & John, you're the best!)
At the train station I met up with Shawna and we flailed over finally meeting each other and they fact that we were going to see Kris. Shawna is amazing! She is an experienced train traveler and I was not so I felt comfortable having her guide me. My mom on the other hand I think was worried that she was like some crazy serial killer or something. (She's not, jsyk)
We had a pretty uneventful (but fun!!) train ride to Philly. We watched Mean Girls and looked at pictures of Kris and Adam (UNF) and flailed some more.
In Philly we got a train that was supposed to take up to Cherry Hill NJ, but we missed our stop and hand to get off at the next one, which was ok because we weren't that far away. We took a taxi to the hotel where we were going to meet up with everyone else. The taxi ride was amusing and we listened to the drivers story about a woman with no driver's license who hit his side mirror and glass flew into her car and cut her leg (idek)
We ended up getting to the hotel about an hour late, but that was ok because I think everyone else was still in Hersey by the time we got to the hotel. LOL. So we creeped in the lobby and watched Liar Liar until everyone got there.
Everyone was so amazing. The sweetest, funniest group of girls i've ever met and ilu all.
Shawna and I shared a room with Kat and Lea and we had a blast eating junk food and talking. Jen and Julia came to visit us and it was about 3 am before we went to bed LOL.
Saturday!!!
We peaced out of the hotel at about 11 or so and headed to the Borgata. We sat in crazy traffic on the way to AC but we amused ourselves talking about Kris and past concerts we'd been to. And what we wanted Kris to wear. LOL.
The Borgata is probably the nicest hotel i've ever been in. It seemed like it was in constant motion. Only one of our rooms was ready so we threw all of our stuff in there and checked the place out. We got food and at one point some of us saw pretty much all of KAB minus Kris around the hotel (I was not one of those people, i saw NO ONE)
We got some wristbands that supposedly allowed us to line up early for the concert, but it was just fuckery because they made up line up by stupid numbers on the wristband anyway. Dumb. Around 5:40 or so we get in line. In line I met the girl from ainow and we found out that Rickey was there!! We all wanted to hurt him, but none more than the girl from ainow, she was out for blood.
They finally let us in and I get this close to the stage http://i35.tinypic.com/w9w37q.jpg, dead center right in front of Kris's mic. Some of us ran to the Andrew/Torres side, some to the Cale side (or as I heard a girl in the crowd call it "The Fail side" lolol)
The opener Chris Nathan was awesome. I really enjoyed him. But then it was time for Kris.
I can't even begin to describe how much fun it was. The crowd was huge and so into it and he was just beaming and so happy. It was epic. So so so so so so so so epic. I never wanted it to end. But of course it had to.
After the show we met Chris Nathan in the casino and he signed Shawna's boob lol. Then went up the rooms and had a couple of drinks, then we went down and got food and walked around. Me, Shawna, Lea, Kat, Jenna, Stacy, and Gabby decided to go into one of the bars on the casino floor. Kat picked the bar and little did she know at the time that in front of the bar she picked was Torres, Andrew, and Lizzie. (and I think Chris Nathan too) I managed not to flail myself to death. We went in a had a couple of drinks.
Lea is on twitter and she sees a tweet that KAB is at another bar called Gypsy Bar. We were over B Bar so we went on over to Gypsy Bar and go inside and there surrounded by a mass of people are Andrew and Torres. I'm standing talking to Gabby and Andrew walks directly in between us. He kind of stops with his back to us and Gabby knocked right into him. And I lol'd. He's so gorgeous up close, it's ridiculous.
After they kicked us out of the bar we were hanging in the little lobby area talking and Stacy was getting creeped on by a drunk guy. And some time during this Kris walks by us!! I managed to see the back of him in his white shirt and black jeans disappearing into a hallway.
After that we dispersed and me, Lea, and Shawna played slot machines for a bit where Lea got creeped on by not only a drunk guy, but a drunk creepy ass guy. Then we went upstairs and went to bed.
it was epic.
Sunday :(
Shawna and I left everyone at the Borgata and went to the AC train station where we took our trip in reverse. The train ride was long and delayed but eventually we made it home.
So that's pretty much it. I had the most amazing time and I wish I could do it every weekend. I loved every one of you and I'm so glad that we all got to experience it together <33
