Full steam ahead?

Well, hello there.

My muscles are aching terribly, and my face is bloated as heck after late-night McDonald's dinner, and this is a rather horrible way of starting a personal post, isn't it?

So school semester's just started approximately three weeks ago, and I suppose I'm coping well. My muse for writing is flickering, my concentration is wavering, but yeah, it's there. I always gripe about my short attention span but really, it's that bad. I can go months without not even touching something that used or still does interest me. I know it's very bad, but I just can't help it.

I've been working for a integrated resort's theater for almost three months now, as a part-time theater usher. I'm really thankful for the job, considering how I first applied for it last August and finally got called up this February. I almost caved in and applied for a position as a part-time admin assistant! orz

But I'm lucky that I waited just a little more (or maybe my procrastination habit just played a really huge part, haha) and here I am, working a pretty decent job with decent pay and flexible hours. Yay me! The first show I worked for was Wicked The Musical, and let me tell you, it is AWESOME.

I'm a casual fan of musicals, I mean, with one of my top favourites being High School Musical (LOL JK), I don't think I can be considered seriously, right?

But the Australian cast of Wicked just blew me away, with Jemma Rix (Elphaba) never failing to make my hair stand with her outstanding vocals, and as for Suzie Mathers (Glinda)... She's just pure awesomeness, I swear. She just brings forth such a bubbly, bimbotic and playfully giggly Glinda that I just couldn't help but beam whenever she's onstage, and I've watched the musical around twenty times? Her personality is kind of like me (haha), when I'm uninhibited, I guess. XD

In short, I've been Galinda-fied!

Just yesterday, I worked for the premiere of A Chorus Line here in Singapore! I was pretty starstruck and I think I've seen enough local celebrities to last me...well, for a quite a while. XD

Though, my gender got questioned yet again. orz I distinctly heard someone saying to his companion as I passed "Is that a boy or a girl?"

BRUH, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!! Seriously.

I think I'll forever be a prepubescent, gender ambiguous person in the general public's eyes. Oh well.

i don't even understand myself sometimes
