Today was quite possibly the best day of my life.
First, I ran into my bookstorebuddy at my favourite coffeeshop. yes, the boy i didn't tell anyone about that i hung out with at the bookstore yesterday. it was bizarre, but fun.
then..Megan let me borrow her Tilly and the Wall cd from the lovely Katie. I'd been meaning to buy that cd, but had just never quite gotten around to saving or spending any money.
Long story short, I love driving around San Jose blasting the best music in the world.
Then came the...timeofmylife. orsomething.
After getting a little lost and the Parking Lot Emergency 2005, my favourite, Megan, and I finally made it down to the tiny little closet that is KSFH 87.9 where we proceeded to dance in the most unimaginably obscene manner whilst forcing Sean and "Jackson Brown" to play everything from Tilly and the Wall to Iron Maiden and even a bit of Fear Factory's cover of George Neuman's Carrrrs. But of course, we couldn't ignore the beautiful weather and made sure we put in our time dancing in the rain. It was fun seeing Sean, especially after the GiantManEatingBubbleGum incident. Then Jackson played an awesome acoustic cover of Alkaline Trio, and our two hours of bliss were coming to an end. Sadly, we wre not allowed to go out to dindin with SeanSean and JacksonJackson. ok, that second one didn't work so well...by the way, his name really wasn't Jackson, I just like that a lot better. so there. and much to my dismay, my camera refused to work, so my first ever perfectday has no documentatioin save the few pictures Megan managed to captrue with her ultracool cameraphone.
but..I did go to the Science talk thing at my school where I proved my mondo-nerd status by getting way toooo excited. but i calmed myself down with a second stop at my coffeeshop where I met the new barista man and got my coffee fix for the night.
le sigh. Today was just too much fun to handle.
