so, for those of you not in the know...and i think you all are...i moved.
i’m living with my grandfather, which isn’t as lame as it sounds. or maybe it is. but the fact of the matter is that i am closer to school and out of my house and can come and go as i please.
unfortunately, there is a boston narcotics officer that lives across the street so there are still somethings i need to go elsewhere for.
but, yeah, things in general are pretty good. i’m lazy as hell lately, which is half good half bad. i mean, it IS summer so i’m permitted a certain amount of laziness (or maybe an unlimited amount) but i also have set such lofty goals for myself this summer. anyway, my way of jumping back on top of things is waking up at 8am and taking care of business...we’ll see if i take care of business or go to sleep.
the girlfriend is good which is certainly a positive thing.
most of my friends are lame. if you’re not lame, then you can ignore that but, if for a second you were offended by that statement or thought that you may be who i’m referring to, you should call me. especially if you don’t return a single goddamn phone call.
in other news, my band is starting to come together...still need another horn player and a singer...and we need to change our name. we were called moment’s notice (remember folks, it’s a wedding band, not a funk band or anything cool) but it’s already taken by some other boston band. personally, i like the name “2% jazz” because it’s kind of funky and still sounds legit and mothers and fathers would probably still hire us for their daughter’s wedding. although, “annie and the annulments” or “paula and the pre-nup’s” are still in the running (not really).
