Recital '06
Well, these past 6 days have pretty much been insane.
Tuesday- I had my last Spanish class with Ms. Sweeting. I was so sad. She made taco salad. We watched Drum Line in band. It was our last lab class! Hallelujah. I went and delivered my working permit after school then helped at the dance w/ Ashton, Courtney, and Amanda. Didn't do much else that night.
Wednesday was the our last day of school! We are Seniors! I cannot believe it is here already. We had a huge calculus party w/ breakfast pizza, donuts, cake, cookies. I am gonna miss Mrs. Hayes. Last chem class! We did nothing in history. Stayed after to put all the tables in the gym for a job I might not have. Victoria and I went to Albion so I could get my new license. We got iced capps from Tim Ho! Came home. Corey and Amanda and Emily picked me up around 1 to go to the beach for our Junior Party Beach Cookout! It was so much fun. 3/4 ofo ur grade showed up, and so did some cool Albion ppl. I saw Mary and Anna, as well. We played volleyball, and I showed off my sweet skills! I got some nice color. Haha. it was so fun. Before I left though, NYSSSA called to let me know that I was no longer just an alternate. I actually got in. This pretty much freaked me out. So. I found out I could get 900 dollars assistance, and only have to pay 600. So I was pretty sure I couldn't go b/c of work. THEN...Wegmans calls and I set up an interview and they told me I am definitely going to be hired. SO. I guess I am gonna take that job b/c they will employ me all year, and I am going to ask if I can take a month off to go to NYSSSA at my interview. So...that completely changed my summer. If I can take a month off, my parents told me I am definitely going. I am pretty much freaking out. I am praying that I can go. I guess we will see. Anywho...later that night, I went to Ed's house w/ some cool freshamn and Amanda for a party. That was cool.
Thursday I didn't do much all day. I went to dress rehearsal at 3. The run-through went well. Tiring. I went and got Bruegger's during break. Got home around 9.
Friday I had to go get my worker's permit from the office for my other interview. I had the Spanish regents. It went well, I guess. I kinda zoned out during the listening. We'll see. Came home and swam and relaxed. Went to Brockport around 6. We warmed up and got ready. The show went extremely well. I had so much fun. Everyone really enjoyed it. Mrs CLiff and Stumpf, my mom, Emily, Sandy, Cookie, and Steven all came that night. We went to Friendly's for ice cream after. Came home and watched so you think you can dance!
Saturday. Oh boy. Longggggg day. Went to chem review for a couple hours. That went well. She did some awesome experiments, and we got donuts! I went to Brockport for the matinee around 12. That show went pretty well. All the kids I assist did awesome! Kristen took me and Carly to Wendy's to get salads then most of our class went to the Puchalskis. That was fun. Ate and watched old recitals. Went back to the school for the last show. Warmed up and got ready. I was sooo tired during the first half, but the second half went well. Alaina, Kirby, and Kristin came, but I didn't get to see them. My parents were there, though! Everyone really enjoyed the show, so that's good. My body is killing me today. We gave the teachers their gifts. This is the first year I wasn't sad after the show was over. I can't believe I only have one more! Took Steph over to the Westcott's. That was great. Sooo much good food. We played shout about movies and went swimming. That was great. I'm gonna miss them all over the summer. Came home around 2.
Today was a beast. I got my dad donuts for breakfast. Haha. Apparently he fell from the attic last night and cracked two ribs. Yikes. I cleaned the pool and basically swam all day. Took a nap. Got groceries and chinese. Decent day.
So...finishing my band final, officer meeting, and chem review tomorrow.
