Prom...and a lot of other things
So a lot has happened the past few weeks.
Let's start w/ prom. That was an experience and a half. So much work, and though I had a lot of fun, I am glad it's over. The Friday before was the Spring Fling. Didn't do much in school. Mrs. Cooper came in and gave us a sad presentation about drinking. The spring fling was kinda gay. Just worked on prom stuff mostly. Went home for an hour. Went to the Driesel's w/ Anthony, his dad, and Collin and got all the stair sout of their barn. It took 2 trips to get them all to the high school. Dropped those off then went w/ my dad to pick up my tux. It looked good. I want to get a white one next year, though. I saw a bunch of ppl there, and it took like 2 hours. Got back to the school. Went to get lilacs w/ Colleen. Decorated for a while. Fortunately, about 15 ppl showed up to help. It was pretty fun. Left around 10. Got some chicken tenders from K&K. It was so good.
Got up at 6 on Saturday and went to Victoria's for a couple hours to blow up 200 helium balloons. Transported them to the school in Mrs. Stumpf's van. They got so tangled up. Decorated forl ike 3 hours. The gym and everything looked so beautiful. I left at 12. Picked up some stuff for the rye boat my parents made, and then went to Arjuna's to get Ashley's corsage. Came home and got dressed then went to Ashley's around 2:30 to pick her up. Got pics at her house, then met Amanda and COrey at Ashley's grandparents' house. That was nice. A bunch of her and Corey's family showed up. Then we went to Meg's for pics. Lots of ppl there. Stayed for about 10 minutes and got some nice poses. Stopped at my house to see my parents and my aunt. Went to Dilly's w/ everyone for pics. Then to Amanda's. We finalyl left for dinner just as it started to rain. Went to Crescent Beach! About 24 ppl went there. Our dinner was so good. I got french onion soup and chicken seafood alfredo. We sang to Meg for her birthday. We ran out back to get pcitures as it started to rain. Went back to the school. The school looked awesome. Everyone looked awesome. It was so nice. Lots of good food. About 116 ppl. All in all great evening. Got pictures taken w/ Ashley and then Larry, Matt, and I got free ones for doing toe modeling thing. I had so much fun. Amanda and Corey got best couple! Left around 10:30. Stopped at Corey's and Amanda's before we went bowling w/ a ton of other ppl. That was prolly the best part of the whole evening. I had so much fun. Left around 1:30. Stopped at my house to get changed then we went to Anthony's around 2:30. There were so many ppl there. But I was exhausted, so it was kind of a drag. Got home around 4:30. Sunday I just kinda chilled. Dropped off my tux at the mall. DId some grocery shopping for my mom and made her dinner for mother's day. Got my pics developed.
OK.
Today I just kinda chilled. Did chores and homework and my instruments and other random things.
Yesterday I had a dentist appt. Then I had a pilates seminar. That was cool. Learned a lot of things. Dance was good. Lindsey had me do our lyrical dance as a solo to demonstrate how it's "supposed to be done." It was kind of amazing. Came home for a few hours before dance pictures. That took a few hours. Everyone loooked good. Unfortunately, I missed AManda and Ashley's recital b/c it ran late. Didn't do much else that night.
Friday was fun. Went to Seneca Falls for the day for a jazz band competition. That was really fun. I think we did well. Went to Burger King after (gross). Some guy freaked on us in the bathroom. lol Finised reading a really good book on the ride home. And I listened to Hannah's ipod. I asked for one for my birthday. I really hope i get one. Got back to school. Came hom and chilled. Took the animals to the Rabies clinic. Then we went and picked Sandy up to go to Albion's dance recital. We were an hour late b/c it started at 6. Saw a bunch of awesome ppl. They did well. Got home around 10.
Monday through Thursday: nothing much happened. Dance was pretty good. I had to work on this drama thing on Monday for the matinee. Wrote a bazillion thank you notes for prom. It is so nice to have it over. It just blows my mind that we will be Seniors a month from now. Time to start planning our Senior trip and Ball! Ummm...stayed after one day for calc. Idk....nothing else really happened.
Two weeks ago...um...I AM GOING TO THE GOO GOO DOLLS AND COUNTING CROWS CONCERT ON JULY 22!! I can't wait. I think that is the only major thing. DId a ton of work for prom all week. Bought a ton of crap for it. Went w/ Emily and DOnnie one night to get stuff for our mothers for mother's day. Last Studio K meeting. We switched the days next year for meetings, so i can still do it. And i think I will be in the muscial next year. AFS meeting to discuss next year's talent show. Dance was good for the most part. Ummm...nothing else to write about, really.
Well. I am turning 17 this week! SO You Think You Can Dance season 2 premiers. SIx Flags is Friday! Hanging out w/ the Albionites this weekend! Marg's dance recital. My bithday party (family). Who knows what else.
