i don't know why i haven't written about what happened to the tonight show, probably because i wanted to pretend that it wasn't happening. anyone who knows me knows that conan is one of my favorite people (and my first crush, hah). i grew up watching him late at night when i first started having insomnia. the reason why he was my first crush was because he is so goofy and random, and adorable and honest. he is the most refreshing and creative late night tv show host, and one of the most talented writers ever. he deserved the tonight show more than anyone else, and it's not fair what happened to him. but i know he will move on to somewhere better- nbc has always treated him like shit, and tried to change his writing. i know it might seem stupid or pointless to invest this much into a show or a host, but conan is one of my biggest inspirations. if there's anyone who shaped my sense of humor, its him and the humor and wit in my illustrations are proof. he has absolutely changed comedy for the better, and this is the biggest mistake nbc will ever make.
i love you, conan. i hope you have a new show soon. i'll be there.
