33rd Entry.
And now that the initial shock is gone, I find that some of my plants have died in the meantime. I've been collecting them in the forest, since I was curious about this place's flora, and cultivated them here to investigate them more closely. I suppose my young self was not used to taking care of these things herself yet... a shame. The ones that are missing were quite interesting. Most of the plants I found are non-toxic - though not all of them. Not suprising, since poison is a way of self-defense.
I find it amusing that the whole thing has a practical side too: I can pay in flowers. And really, some of the things you can buy are most fascinating... for one, I have tried a variety of foods foreign to me, and then I am not used to, say, clothes being produced in such masses. I only bought a nightshirt and a bathing robe up to now, I cannot quite decide on anything else. Though I have been offered... something recently. So I have been spending my money flowers on equipment and books, mostly. I have also been visiting the library. People regularly tell me about things I have never heard of, so I feel slightly... uneducated, I guess. It makes me curious.
On an entirely different note, to state obvious: the Red God is exacting his judgement again. Just what we needed, really.
... I hear someone's recruiting an army? I am seriously considering to join as of right now... simply because I don't just want to stand by doing nothing.
