sometimes i spend time surfing the web and randomly selecting songs. but it's not really random because what i'm really doing is looking for potential weddings songs for a potential wedding that will potentially be in my potential future.
too much potential_ _ _ - - -_ _ _ i've been going on interviews and keep getting no's but they assure me that i'm highly qualified and to consider them in the future should another position open so i guess im just full of potential_ _ _- - -_ _ _
anyway i scan song titles, then my memory, and i listen to it and imagine slow dancing to it. then a lyric like "i look to you and i see nothing" jogs me out of the fantasy and i end up listening to the rest of the song and hearing how shitty it is for a wedding song.
i've always wanted to dance to "these days" because it is from my favorite scene in film ever.
but really the lyrics aren't that indicative of how i want my relationship to go.
i just want to wait at the bus stop and see him greet me into his life.
i got a man though, i just need a job.
