Rose Bowl

Well the Rose Bowl trip was an interesting adventure. Got into town, had breakfast with everyone, talked to Kate, decided to go dancing, went shopping, went to the pep rally on the santa monica pier, hunted for an in and out burger and found some mexican food instead after an interesting walk, went to pasadena, tried to get ahold of Kate and failed miserably so we took over a bar in Pasadena played pool and cheered for Michigan. Second day I got up early, went to the rose parade and met kate and here friend there, saw the parade, went to the game, cheered, screamed, got bummed, and kinda sad as we lost. Hiked a mile or so to the shuttle because the driver was an idiot and caught a flight home.

I'm not sure about the whole thing with Kate. She knows that I like her and while we have fun together if we ever see each other, I get the sense that there isn't any interest. It's probably a distance or timing thing which is reasonable. Maybe it's me. I dunno, I wish I could just walk away, but I enjoy her company too much. I'm hopeless, I know.

As far as the game goes, It was an amazing thing to be in the stadium and be in a game like that. The first half was awesome to watch, but somehow our corners choked in the second half (they're good at that) and Henne just sorta sat back like a rock. I don't think we got beat by SC, i think we beat ourselves. SCs band needs to learn a few more songs and learn to walk straight. There players need to learn about a little thing called class, because they still don't have any.
