day one
day one went like this..... well lets start with pre-day one of training.... i went to the mall to go shopping right. im in debs trying on some really cute stuff (some of which is PINK. i dont know whats wrong with me) anyway.... i go to pay for the stuff, write out my check and they wouldnt accept it. stupid money market account. i wrote more than my limit last month, so i dont know when i can write another. so i put all the stuff on hold, came home, got my savings book, went to the bank, then BACK to the mall. came home and got ready. left about 2ish. i thought there was still construction on the freeway... but there wasnt, so i was there a half hour early. i just sat in the car.
so now training. meet liza, shes gonna be training me in the morning. and matt how is super awesome and kayli who is just the cuties thing ever. she reminds me off.... i dont know who, but shes super sweet and yea. so from 3 til about 4 i stood around. i was waiting for carri (not "head head" maid carri, although i did meet her), but head maid carri. she gave me a tour around the FOUR buildings. supplie rooms, breaker boxes extra this, extra that. that was really all i did today. oh, and i got my time card and filled out a W-2 and other papers. it was REAL exciting.
its mad crazy there right now. they are almost sold out and there are 794 rooms. a lot of school groups and old people. im afraid to know what the other one is like. i get to jump between the two that john owns. its craziness i tell ya. lucky for me, the most i will be doing is getting things for people and MAYBE checking people in and booking rooms.
so the clothes i got.... 2 pairs of slacks (tan and dark grey pinstripe) and 6 shirts. you know those shirts with like a million and a half straps that you have to tie on your back or the shirt will fall off..... welli got one of those. its really hot. i wasnt too sure what my mom would think of it seeing that its a backless top (not like i really care what she thinks) but to my surprise, she likes that one the most. huh, oh well.
so now i am gonna go and wait for dinner and try to get a hold of heather.
tomorrow morning training with Liza.. i get to learn the computer. whooty whoot whoot. then insurance stuff with dad fallowed by sleep and homework. hope you all enjoy your weekend
