[Contest] Fanfic Tie-Breaker
Although it should be time to send the re-newly weds off on their honeymoon with the Closing Ceremonies...something unprecedented has occurred.
A tie in the Fanfic Contest!
As per the rules, a Tie-Breaker Contest will be held!
First and foremost, thank you to all four of the authors who participated in the original Fanfic Contest. The entries were wonderful! You all deserve personal praise but for the sake of the Tie-Breaker Contest all four of the authors of the original Fanfic Contest need to maintain anonymity. The reveals for all 4 main entries will go up with the results of the Tie-Breaker Contest, even though the Tie-Breaker will be held only between the authors of "He never really changed" and "17."
Tie-Breaker Contest Rules
1. Only the authors of "He never really changed" and "17" may enter.
2. Your entry should roughly be between 500 and 1000 words and follow the rules of the original Fanfic Contest. (Ohmiya centric, no including personal identifiers, etc.)
3. Entries are due at midnight GMT -5 on August 15th, 2013.
4. Submit your entry to the ohmiyawedding2013@yahoo.com email address in your html corrected format.
5. You must use the following prompt: The day I knew I could never get by without you.
In the event that I recieve both entries before the 2 week deadline, I will post them early. The winner will be decided via another lj poll that will be kept open for three days. In the event that one of the authors decides not to compete, the other author shall automatically win.
So what does this mean for the rest of us? I've decided to keep the wedding open until the Tie-Breaker Contest is over. While I won't post any new games or activities, you can still keep playing all of the games, roleplays and doing the activities. The chatroom will be open as long as laurachan2 decides it should be.
