A/N:The plot will go exactly like the manga, but there will be some changes cause this is my story. I don't plan on making chobits seem weird. Just decided to share because it was my first manga that I came to love. If you don't wanna read this, then don't. Edited in 2014
Fanfic Masterpost Nino wondered how someone can look so much like him despite the gender difference. Satoshi had never mentioned that there was someone else like him since he has no recollection of him telling him whatsoever. Although she did look so much like him causing him to become even more curious.
“Were you the one calling me?” Nino asked the girl as he watched her lips curve into a smile.
“Yes. I was the one calling you,” She answered as she came closer to the mirror until she was facing him. Her hands slowly went up and Nino found his hands also going up as if he was mimicking her. As he laid his hands on the cold glass mirror, she did the same.
“Why do you have the same face as me?” He asked her, wanting to know the reason behind why they look so alike.
“I already told you... It’s because I’m your sister.”
As soon as she said those last words, her fingers went through the glass and he felt her fingers intertwine with his. It felt like a connection as soon as he did the same to her fingers, but Nino wasn’t able to interpret it to himself.
“Nino doesn’t understand,” He confessed honestly. If he had a sister, wouldn’t there be another Nino other than him? If there were, Satoshi would have brought the both of them home so he too wouldn’t be lonely when Satoshi left home.
“So, you’ve lost all of your data,” she said as he was being pushed further and further until her body made it through the glass. Nino wasn’t bothered by it at all since he just wanted to know what she was trying to say.
“That is what the landlady said,” Nino told her after remembering her saying so a couple of days ago.
“The landlady?”
“Kato Rosa-san. She is the landlady where Satoshi lives.”
“Kato...” She paused and cocked her head to the side, her eyes looking somewhere into a distant place even though she was looking at him in the eyes. “So she’s close to you.”
“You know the landlady?” Nino asked in surprise.
“I know her well. I know everything... Even the things you’ve forgotten.”
“Now it’s my turn to ask,” she said as she let go of his hands and placed it on his cheek, “Who is Satoshi?”
“Satoshi found me,” he explained.
“He’s someone new. So, you go by Nino now?”
“Nino is my name,” he grinned, “Satoshi named me.”
“Is this Satoshi the someone just for you?”
“Someone just for me?...”
“Someone who loves just you?”
“Someone just for me...” Nino looked down at his feet and frowned when he heard those words. He wasn’t sure of what she was trying to say since he never felt this ‘love’ towards Satoshi since he rebooted. “...I don’t know.”
Nino felt the girl move closer to him until her forehead was touching him and her hand went to the back of his head. “You really have forgotten everything. But I remember,” she said as she brought her other hand up and hugged him, “About us. About what we have to decide.”
“And what we have to do then,” she told him after breaking apart their hug.
“If Nino is what your friend calls you... I’ll call you Nino, as well.”
“Nino,” she called him and put her finger out. Nino did the same and felt her finger on his. “We’ve connected again.”
“From now on...everything you do, everything you learn... will be relayed to me,” She said, “You and I are together again. Together forever.”
“I’ll be seeing you, Nino,” she said as she got closer and closer until their lips were touching. Nino didn’t move however, and closed his eyes as if the chaste kiss was to seal the deal. Just as he was about to open them again, he heard a familiar voice calling his name loudly.

Ohno panicked when Nino wasn’t in the room. He remembered leaving him sitting patiently on the floor before he left for his date an hour ago. It wasn’t that easy to lose someone bigger than a keychain yet he couldn’t find him even if he checked in every nook and cranny in his apartment. When he was about to lose it, he felt a strong, yet gentle wind brush past him. Looking up, he saw that his windows were open wide.
“Oh no! What if they found Nino and took him away while I was gone!” He panicked at the thought of Nino’s owners forcing themselves into his apartment. They must have snuck out of the window while he was busy enjoying his time with Inoue. Sticking his head out, he looked down and saw that it was almost impossible to just slip out of the window. It would take skills and strength to drag Nino out of the room and land from the third floor. When he was about to lose it, the sound of the leaves rustling distracted him from his train of thoughts.
“Nino?” He called for the latter who was standing calmly on a tree branch. There was no answer from him as his eyes were closed.
“Nino!” He called again, however this time louder so he could catch his attention. “Ni--” He stopped himself and sighed in relief when the persocom opened his eyes and turned to look at him.
“What are you doing up there?” He asked him worriedly. “I got worried when I came home and you weren’t in the room.” Ohno relaxed a little when he saw that Nino was unharmed. If there were any intruders, his landlady would have told him when he got home. If only he had a cell phone...
“Welcome home, Satoshi!” Nino greeted him as he came down from the branch and brought himself inside of the apartment.
“Thanks. I’m glad you’re okay,” He told him after closing the window shut just in case his fear would become real.
As soon as Nino sat himself down besides the small table, Ohno rushed to his backpack remembering that he had brought something for him while he was gone. He wanted to see Nino’s face being happy again just like when he had bought him his first gift. Whenever he saw him smile, it made him happy too.
In between the mess in his bag, he finally found the wrapped gift and took it out of his backpack. “I brought you a present,” he said as he unwrapped it before handing it to Nino, “It’s a book. Someone Just For Me-A City With No People it’s the follow-up to the other book I bought you. You seemed to like it.”
However, Nino had a blank expression on his face as he stared at the book in his hands. Ohno immediately thought that he was unhappy at the present he gave him.
“I’m sorry! Maybe I should have brought you something else. You don’t eat sweets, so I just don’t know--”
“Whoa!” He exclaimed at the same time air was knocked out of him. Both of them fell to the floor with Nino on top of him, squirming and hugging him tightly as if he was a winning prize. They stayed in that position for a couple or more seconds when Nino pulled himself up a bit. Looking up, he saw a sweet and gentle smile on Nino’ face while his eyes were locked with his.
“Thank you, Satoshi.”
Ohno stared at him in silence except for the gulping sound he made after just one look at Nino’s face. Like last time, Nino had a sweet smile on his face and his eyes were twinkling with delight. Despite the happiness displayed on his face, it was almost appeared as if Nino was about to cry anytime. He clearly knew that he was a computer, but his facial expression almost seemed so...real as if he was human. Are all persocoms like this? Or is it just Nino, he wondered.
“I-uh-yeah- I’m glad you liked it!” Ohno pulled away and sat up, his back facing Nino. Whenever he saw Nino’s smile, something in his body made him feel weird for awhile until he thought of other things to calm down. When he finally did, he turned back around and peeked over Nino’s shoulders.

“But... What if that person doesn’t love you back?” It’s split twin asked it as they stared at each other with unchanging expressions.
“What if that person likes someone...other than you? People aren’t like them. You can’t erase their feelings. People aren’t easy to change.”
“I know,” it said after hearing the thorough explanation from its split twin. “But people do change,” it closed its eyes as it stood on the ground, it’s split twin looking up, “Their feelings are dynamic.”
“Feelings of love are more resistant than others. What if he never loves you?” the split twin asked it as it closed its eyes.
“Then I’ll have to decide,” it said. “Decide...and then do what must be done. Me and the other me.”
Nino gently brushed his finger over the two figure drawn on the pages. One was white while the other was slightly darker than the original character. Seeing those two reminded him of his encounter earlier with his sister who stared at him with knowing eyes.

A/N: I feel totally discouraged writing this fic. Gosh, I hope I overcome this laziness of mines. Sorry for not writing so soon when I proposed that I was working on this. Blame this one guy that has a hella nice voice and funny videos on youtube.
Oh and yeah, I got my braces off (If ya'll didn't know since I posted this news on tumblr a few days ago) But since the retainers are bothering the fuck out of me, my writing process will be slow until my mouth and teeth gets used to this new stuff in my mouth. Otherwise, happy reading!
