++++++++++“Goodbye!” Ohno waved to his lover with a huge grin on his face.
“Bye!” His lover yelled back, slowly walking backwards to see his face for the last time. He smiled back at his lover, but his smile soon disappeared when he turned around the next corner, his lover’s face disappearing. “What’s the big deal?” He muttered to himself. “It will only be for 3 months…”

* a couple of hours ago*
“Nino!” His boss called out. “Come here for a moment, I need to talk to you.”
“Hai, Hai.” Nino responded back. Typing a few more words into his entry, he walked into his boss’s room. What did his boss want from him? Is it a promotion? He nervously asked himself. Or am I gonna get fired like the others? Nino shook that thought out of his head and decided to listen to what his boss has to say.
“Sit down Kazunari,” His boss ordered.
Nino nodded and did as he was told.
“I’ve decided. You are one of the best workers here in this company, and gives the best effort into your work.” His boss complimented.
Finally he noticed, Nino mumbled quietly.
“Did you say something?” His boss questioned, peering his eyes over at the skinny man.
“Ah! I didn’t. Sorry,” Nino coughed and straightened his body posture.
“Well...” His boss started . “You are receiving a promotion because of you hard work. That’s all.”
Nino couldn’t believe his ears. “A..a promotion?” Nino stuttered because of excitement.
His boss glared at him, “What, you don’t want it?”
“Ah, sorry. I do,” Nino apologized. He gave a faint smile to his boss, which was ignored, and was about to walk out of the room when his boss called his name.
“Kazunari, one more thing.”
Nino turned around.
“You have stay in Kyoto for three months to work on your next project.”
“Eh?!Really?!”
“Yeah,” his boss clarified, before turning around to face his office window. “Now go and do your work.”
“Hai,” Nino slowly nodded his head as he walked out and closed the door behind him. He couldn’t believe it, he was just promoted. He wanted to celebrate, and run around the office building to scream of happiness. But wait, what would he tell Satoshi.
Nino ran his hand through his hair and though about what would Satoshi say to him. Of course Satoshi will congratulate him, but what will he say about his three month project work?
“Argh!” Nino stressed. He definitely doesn’t know what Satoshi’s reaction will be.

“If Nino is happy, then I approve,” his boyfriend smiled.
“Really?!” Nino piped up. He didn’t expect Satoshi to say yes to him since their relationship only started. But since he has his approval, he’s happy about it.
“Thank Satoshi,” Nino smiled, putting his hand on top of the latter’s hand.
“No problem.”

*the next day*
“Are you sure you will be okay without me Satoshi?” Nino worriedly asked.
“Yes I will. Now go!”
“Ok, if you say so. But remember,” Nino glared at him. “Always give me a call every night.”
“Yea I will! Just go already! You need the promotion don’t you?!” Ohno urged his boyfriend who was about to miss his flight.
“I’ll go! I’ll go!” Nino laughed. He looked at his boyfriend for the last time, hugged him, and kissed him deeply.
“Bye Satoshi,” Nino whispered into his ears before walking to his plane “Bye.”
“Bye,” Satoshi waved, watching his boyfriend’s disappear into a door leading to the plane. He smiled happily that his boyfriend finally got what he wanted. But there was this uneasy feeling in his heart. A bad feeling making him look through that door, hoping his boyfriend would be safe…

After arriving on location, he immediately went to his designated hotel and crashed on his bed. Thanks to his hard work that he was able to arrive at such a place, and get promoted. He smiled to himself, satisfied with his current position.

“Why isn’t he picking up!” Ohno worried. He called Nino for 10 times already and fulfilled his promise with calling him every night. Why wasn’t Nino picking up?

He thought that he was going to take a nap, but he ended up sleeping until it was morning. Yawning, he reached out for his cell phone, and went through his data. What?! Nino questioned. 30 missed calls from Oh-chan?! Why did his boyfriend call him this much? Oh yeah, Nino realized. I told him to call me every night. “Yabai! I have to call back!”
He waited for Satoshi to pick up, but he heard the answering machine telling him to leave a message. Why isn’t he picking up?! Nino stressed. Usually, Satoshi would always answer his phone after one to three rings. Something probably happened to him! The skinny man claimed. Worried over Satoshi, he put his sweater back on, packed his luggage, and headed to the airport. When the taxi came, he went inside the cab and told the driver to bring him to the airport as fast as he can. The driver nodded and stepped on the gas.
Nino tried calling Satoshi again for the tenth time, but he wasn’t answering. What’s he up to?! Nino cursed. He was so busy with trying to call Satoshi that he didn’t notice the bright lights getting closer.
Sounds of cars crashing, people cursing, and traffic were surrounding him. He tried getting up but couldn’t since his legs were under something. He reached for the back of his head and felt something wet and thick. Bringing his hand to his face, he saw his own blood running down his fingers. Next thing that happened was that the world turning black.
