A lot of things are happening!

So my house, well the kitchen and two rooms, have been repainted. The kitchen remained white as well as the room that my sister recently moved into (it was my eldest brother's and sister-in-law's before). However, the only room whose color was changed is mine! It used to be white, but now my walls, my closet and my door (from the inside) is a sublime lime green! I love the color green and I'm in love with my room, despite it being super empty at the moment. Also, my rugs are going to be changed sometime this week, meaning that I cannot be in my room for a while. Therefore, updating will take a while.

Speaking of rooms, though, this is the second time I'm going to have the room to myself. Before, my sister and I shared rooms because there are a lot of people living in my house: my grandma and my mom's sister sleep in the sunroom; like I mentioned before, my eldest brother and sister-in-law had a room, then my second older brother has his own room, and my parents have the master room. Yup, a lot of people! And then from March 30-April 6, my aunt's daughter and her family are coming here to my house for Spring Break. (Two years ago on December, for a week, my uncle and my aunt, along with their two children, came from Florida and stayed at my house for a week before moving into their own house. Then before they left for New York, they stayed at my house for a week.) So basically, my house is a family-refuge XD.

Anyway, I'm seriously not the type of person who can sleep by myself because I grew up sleeping with others. In the Philippines (where I was born!), my parents, siblings and I shared a whole room together because we wanted to be together despite having another room that was meant for my parents; another room was for our housekeeper). Then when we moved to America 12 years ago, we shared rooms again in my uncle's house before they moved out; after moving out, the siblings shared rooms: my two older brothers and my younger sister and I (my grandma was still living with us then). Then a few years later, another family from Philippines moved here to America and we coshared houses for a while before my own family and I moved out to a two-story house. In that two-story house, the siblings still shared rooms. Lastly, we moved again which is the house we currently live in, so no need for explanation.

Back to the topic, I can't sleep by myself, having a slight insomnia, and the fact that I could hear ghosts (yes, we have a few at our house and they are friendly) makes it worse. So, I sleep with music (again. I used to sleep with music before, but I stopped because I started preferring silence), and I would turn on my light in the middle of the night if I can't go back to sleep. But other than that, I can't wait to finally stylize my room. Yes, there will be a lot of Arashi posters and other fandoms like Sherlock (BBC) and a few Jrock. I will have a shelf dedicated to my Japanese language books and such and my Arashi stuff (separate, of course). I may, or may not have a bean bag chair just in case my friends come over and we wanna chill. And I'm going to have the perfect setup for my computer which is going to be used mainly for playing games and watching movies! I'm going to set it up at the wall opposite of my bed so I can use my bed as a couch XD.

On another note, I'm a hoarder! I hoard mainly journals, unused or abandoned journals, papers, pens and pencils. Why? Because I love them and I love writing. And because of this, I seriously have to stop going to the stationary sections at Wal-Mart every time I go there and the journal sections and Barnes and Nobles. So for these stuffs, I have to find space to put them. Perhaps a huge storage box to go underneath my bed? I'll think about it.

Oh, and I have a lot of clothes. I've gotta get rid of those too. When I have enough money saved, I'm going to buy clothes that are my style and ones that I'm for sure going to use for a long time. I'm going to gradually buy them though, not all at once. I've gotta be frugal because I spend so much money on books and games.

Well, that's the stuff about house related things.

So then school! I have midterms for English tomorrow. I really, honestly, tried studying today, but I'm so worn out from being out of the house almost everyday... so I ended up taking a four hour nap. It's sooooo bad, I know. I will study tonight and read a lot XD. But yeah, I decided to change my major from Psychology to English because I realized that English is my thing, with the fact that I love reading and writing. I mean, I do love Psychology because it's so interesting and I just love everything about it. I planned on becoming an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, or an Air Force Psychologist, but I started to question if I felt up to it. Sure, I have basic knowledge of Psychology because I took it during junior year of my high school, but it's something I really won't delve into. So then I decided, why not become an English major? I do love English and I do want to become a writer, or an English teacher at Japan. And besides, I've been writing since I was in elementary school. Yup, I have, although they were so amateur and were all based on the same thing: a number of best friends XD; I also read A LOT when I was a kid, up to the point where I read during summer vacations and my parents would always compare my lazy older brothers to me XD. Recently, though, I don't have time to read. I haven't even finished the first book in the Game of Thrones and The Hobbit, which I'm halfway done with both. I can't wait for Spring Break. I'll probably read by then and update more, of course! And my Spring Break, which is next week (thank goodness!), I will be able to sleep in my room.

Okay, that's a lot to say. Thanks for reading my verbose personal entry.
