Yesterday, nicefinalbeam posted about plagiarism yesterday on arashirabu. I read the whole thing and I decided to PM her about the whole situation, especially when it came to the fic Chobits. When writing this, four years ago, I really intended on changing things, but because I abandoned it and the whole mindset about changing it, as in making the fic BASED on

I totally agree with gambitsfox, when you write a fic, there's some kind of plagiarism from the beginning and when your plot isn't completely yours, as long as you say it's based on something you read, watch etc...., I don't think it's plagiarism :) anyway, I think Nicefinalbeam does that to be sure we respect other's work and not to have any problem; in a way, I agree with her because there are true nasty writers who really steal people's work so, we have to be careful :)
It's sad this fic was considered as plagiarism but we can't help it, ne? :) don't worry, I think nobody really saw it as a plagiarism mostly when you mentionned it was based on Chobits, so, your readers won't let you down and will keep encouraging you :D Ganbatte my dear :D

Yeah, I agree with Gambitsfox too. But since I decided on it already, then I'll still go through it. Well, I know she addressed it towards respecting other's works, but I just had to PM her about Chobits because I really didn't feel right when I thought about plagiarism concerning Chobits. And yes, we definitely have to be careful.

I understand this feeling, it's normal, when you respect other's work, you don't want to make plagiarism :)
I'm glad it's encouraging you, you do great, keep writing like that :D I haven't read your fics for a while now, well, I don't read lots of fics this year because studies are crzy but when I'll be in vacations, I'll come back to your LJ, it's been a while since I read your fics :D

well it's very hard, medecine isn't the easiest part in France xD but I'm working hard and live like an ermite in my bedroom, studying all day and barely having time for writing my fic and reading like before TT I'm impatient to reach June and be in vacations :D

oh yes, I understand. It's the same with me, although I'm just a freshman in college while working. The struggle with trying to find time, so when I do have that little time or when I'm not stressed, I write to relieve it. I can't wait either. Once again, good luck with your studies! I hope you do well and start writing again :D

I try to read and write, I work from 08 a.m to 06 p.m and after, I stop because my brain is dead tired and I write a bit but to read, it's not the same, I read some fics during the week but it's not much because I'm exhausted xD studies can be so annoying, it steals all your free time and energy xD

Oh man that's a lot of hours! How many days do you work in a week. and yes, I understand. Like right now, I just got back from work and I am brain dead. I'm trying to write, but then I'm so sleepy I just end up watching youtube videos. And yes, studies definitely do, but it's worth it cuz we get something good out of it like a good career in the future! :D
