"Hey Sho-chan, don't you think Jun has been acting weird lately?"

"Well, so would you if you were doing a hit drama series... And getting screamed at by girls in the street."

"We get some of that..." Nino muttered, sounding jealous.

"Not that much... " Sho rolled his eyes. "And at least they call us by our names! He told me they sometimes call him Domyoji!"

The two bandmates were waiting for their turn to shoot their part of the PV, while the other three were on the set.

"Anyway." Nino continued. "I feel like he's been more distracted. And randomly smiling for no reason."

"Hmm..." Sho answered distractedly. He was reading a very interesting article about the history of american toasters in the japanese economy.

"Don't you see what this means?" Nino exclaimed, putting a hand down dramatically on the newspaper. "I think our Mr Stoic has fallen for someone!"

Sho chuckled. "You think?"

Nino nodded proudly. "And I also think I know who it is!!"

The newscaster sighed. "Can't you leave him alone? If he really does like someone, we shouldn't interfere. Especially since it's his first time."

Nino shook his head. "Oh Sho. You really don't understand do you... It's especially because it's the first time that he needs our help!"

"Well then, detective Ninomiya, who is the lucky girl?"

The gamer grinned. "It is the only one who could melt the heart of our Mr Perfect. The only one who can bug and tickle him and still get a smile."

"You don't mean..." Sho's attention was completely on Nino, his newspaper now forgotten.

"Oh yes. That's exactly who I mean. It's..." He paused for an exagerated effect. "Mao-chan!!!" He finished triumphantly.

*

"I can't believe you talked me into this..." Sho muttered to Nino. They were sitting in the back of a car, and Nino looked very proud of himself. He had convinced his manager to drive them to the set of Hana Yori Dango, allegedly to pay a visit to Jun.
But really, Nino had a different plan in mind...

"Are you really sure?" Sho asked in a low voice. "This might be a complete misunderstanding!"

Nino shook his head. "He definitely had lipstick on his neck yesterday. And I know he'd just come from a shooting for the drama. Which means he was with her." The gamer grinned. "I'm actually impressed. I didn't think they were already together! And actually kissing during working hours..."

He dried an imaginary tear.

"Sho-chan! Our boy has grown up so much!"

"Yeah but when you asked him he denied it! Okay...he blushed, but that doesn't prove anything."

Nino frowned. "Well it means he's hiding it from us. And we have to confirm it for ourselves." He shrugged. "Really it's his fault. If he'd just told us, we wouldn't have to do this!"

"Nino, sometimes your logic worries me..." Sho shook his head hopelessly.

The younger man grinned and winked at him.

The car came to stop. They had arrived and Nino was rubbing his hands together in excitement.
"Let's do this!" He exclaimed as he opened the door and got out.

*

Their plan was very very far from being foolproof. But it was Nino. And when he had a plan, it usually worked out according to him.

First, they had to make sure Jun and Mao did not find out they were here.

This seemed impossible, especially as they immediately bumped into Oguri Shun.

"What are you two doing here?" He asked surprised.

"Please don't tell anyone you saw us!" Sho blurted out. "We're.... here to surprise Jun!"

The taller man frowned. "Hmm... Okay... I guess it's fine if it's you Sho. It's just him I don't trust." He said nodding at Nino, who grinned mischievously.

"Okay great! Thanks!" Sho said quickly, pushing Nino down a corridor of the studio.

When they finally turned a corner, they stopped.

The newscaster gave a sigh of relief.

"What?" Nino asked. "That was great! You're really quick on your toes! I didn't know you could come up with excuses this fast!"

Sho glared at him. "Yeah? Well I don't like lying to my friends..."

The younger man rolled his eyes.

They waited for a moment, listening to the sounds of the scene being filmed in a room a few corridors away.
Finally, they heard the director calling for a break.

"Okay. So. Now we need to split up." Nino said quietly to his friend. "You go find Mao-chan, and keep her away from Jun."

"Yes... I remembered the plan..." Sho rolled his eyes. "But you do realize that if Jun sees me, it's game over..."

Nino smirked. "You didn't think I'd have someting planned for this? Don't worry. Just do whatever you can to get her away from the set, and for as long as possible."

Sho shrugged and walked down a corridor.

Nino chuckled. That very morning, he'd sent a long message to Jun informing him of the benefits of drinking plenty of water, and of what a positive impact it would have on his skin.
Of course Jun had not answered the text, but Nino knew that he had read it. His bandmate would never ignore health and beauty advice, even from Nino.
And by now, he would probably feel a strong need to go to the bathroom...

When Sho reached the set, he quickly spotted Inoue. He smiled as he saw Jun exiting through another door. But was that really thanks to Nino...?

He waved the young actress over.

"Hey Sho-chan! Jun didn't tell me you were coming for a visit!" She said with a smile.

"Actually, could you not tell him I'm here? I wanted to talk to you! We want to throw him a surprise birthday!" Sho said quickly. "So I thought maybe we could start organising it!"

"That's a great idea! But maybe now's not the best time... I don't really have long, we're just taking a break."

Sho pouted slightly. He would kill Nino later for having to do this.
"Please Mao-chan, I'm really excited to start now! And I'm sure you have lots of ideas!"

"Alright." She finally accepted. And they walked away from the set.

Nino smiled and nodded as he saw the two walk away. Of course he trusted Sho, but it was always good to make sure things were going according to plan.

He looked around frowning and finally spotted an adequate prey.

"Hi!" He said with his most charming smile. The young woman gasped in surprise when she saw him. "Nino...miya-san!" She said blushing.

"Oh! Yeah, you know me?" He answered innocently.

She nodded enthusiastically.

"Great! Could you do me a favour?" He asked with a silky voice.

She continued nodding.

"It's going to sound a little strange... but I'm here to give a surprise to Jun. I want you to go outside the men's bathroom and wait for him to get out. Then you will tell him that Mao-chan is waiting for him in the changing room number 3. Also, you need to tell him not to switch on the lights on. And of course, don't mention that I am here."

When he finished his instructions, the young woman's eyes were wide in confusion. "But..."

"Can you do that for me?" He tilted his head to the side and grinned innocently.

"Emm... Yes okay..." She let out slowly, blushing and still looking very confused.

He laughed. "Great! Thanks!" He patted her shoulder and walked off to changing room number 3.

*

Nino had just had enough time to get into the small changing room and stand in a corner, when Jun opened the door and closed it behind him.

"Mao-chan," he whispered, and Nino grinned in the darkness. "I know there's a risk the staff will open the door, but I'm not sure this is necessary..." He whispered, but still, he didn't turn the light on.

Nino sighed loudly, letting Jun know where he was without giving out his real identity.

"You know I think the guys may be starting to suspect something..." The younger man said while walking towards the shorter one. "But I think we should still not tell them. And it's so exciting keeping a secret like this..."

Jun was very close to Nino, closing the distance by following the short breaths. The gamer was finding it very hard not to burst out laughing, but he had to hold on just a little longer.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" The young man whispered. "Are you just waiting for me to kiss you?" He said with a small chuckle.

He was now inches away from Nino, and when the shorter man felt Jun's hot breaths on his lips, he could not take it anymore.

He giggled.

This gave Jun the same effect as an electric shock. Nino heard him stagger backwards and fall on the floor.

The older man burst out laughing and leaned over to the lightswitch and pressed on it. They were blinded by the sudden brightness.

"I knew it!" Nino exclaimed.

"Nino!!! I am seriously going to kill you!" Jun shouted as he got to his feet. But the short man was already out the door and sprinting down the corridor.

He reached the parking lot at top speed, with his bandmate hot on his heels.

Sho was standing by Nino's agent's car with Mao, and both looked up in surprise at the sudden arrival of the two young men.

"Nino?"

"Hi Mao-chan!" Nino was grinning widely. "I think you should get back to the set. But for future reference, I think Jun quite likes the idea of you guys making out in a dark changing room..."

And with this, he pushed Sho into the car and asked his agent to drive them home, leaving a bewildered Inoue and a very angry Jun on the parking lot.

*

"You made out with Jun?!" Sho exclaimed in the car.

Nino laughed. "Of course not! I just let him get this close." He indicated the small distance in front of his lips.

"Only Oh-chan gets to kiss me." He finished seriously.
