So, I made these whole apple dumplings filled with creamy vanilla goodness...
this is pre-oven
Only, the pastry wasn't browning very much, so I was advised to let them cook longer...until this happened:

WHATEVER, THEY WERE STILL DELICIOUS WITH MAPLE SYRUP AND VANILLA BEAN ICE-CREAM.
