Vacation from...not work :D
I'm going somewhere in the mountains for a couple of days and will probably be internetless. My friends haven't told me much, but hopefully they aren't just trying to avoid having to carry my corpse around by getting me to take myself to the middle of nowhere. ;D
Random thought time! Let's see... I joined ontd_tsc for The Secret Circle news (the non-ONTD version was a ghost comm), but it looks like the online fandom is either based elsewhere or is just completely dwarfed by the likes of SPN. I only care about spoilers that tell me Gale Harold will be in episodes. It'd be nice if the writers got their shit in order next season (I like the idea that Nikita will probably get cancelled and TSC will move to Fridays to be partnered with SPN), but I don't expect it. They need to go back to the kids learning to control their powers instead of ~boyfriend issues~. They're practically partnering all the kids up with everyone else, ugh.
I bought $50 worth of books online from Powell's - I feel better about giving them my money than Amazon, and shipping was free. :D This includes the three QaF books, woo~ Also some epic fantasy by women authors, because the genre is sadly dominated by white men and I want to give other authors a chance.
I've been putting a lot of shows on hold for a while, like Grimm, Ringer, Once Upon a Time, House, Castle, TSC... I started getting caught up recently and I find myself liking the main actor on Grimm more than at first. And yay for Grimm getting renewed! I still don't think it's fantastic, but I still enjoy it and think it could improve next season. I will be really surprised if Ringer doesn't get the axe this season. Where the hell is the plot even going? It's like they're making it up as they go along...
Still no sign of Eito/T&T DVD rips on the relevant comms. :/
