Hypermile your car FTW + New Cars

Not liking your daily MPG or having to buy expensive gas? Here are some tips.

So far I've been able to get up to about 31mpg with my 2.0 liter RSX Type-S driving frugally but not going to great lengths like the serious hypermilers yet. A fill up of about 11 gallons of gas for me is already past the $40 mark because I have to fill up with Premium. Ouch. I'm contemplating reducing the car's overall weight by taking out the spare tire and replacing it with a tire repair kit. If I wanna get super serious It's time to start ditching interior bits. ^^; I'm not that hardcore yet.

There are also some interesting developments coming soon in the world of cars.. things that can get up to 300mpg because of low air-drag and efficient series hybrid engines.
