Guilty Pleasure
I've always thought live-action renditions of anime/manga stories were boring. Then again I've never been really a fan of Asian drama. For example, I watch the live-action Fuma no Kojiro which is based on a manga that I wasn't familiar with, so I thought I'd be fine with it and maybe the fact that the main character, Kojiro, looks and acts a lot like my cousin, expect my cousin's a lot darker in complexion and more undisciplined and lecherous that ruined it for me. And I could not stop thinking that someone needs to slap some chapstick on those boys Good grief!
But I have found my guilty pleasure: Live-action musicals!!!
I love musicals, as it is. But Prince of Tennis as a musical! It's been a while since I've watched the series so I'm not familiar with the other teams but it's pretty entertaining to watch. I'm a little disappointed that there's not much more dancing involved in the matches but I haven't watch everything yet so I'm hoping it'll get better :)
