Forever Young
So I've been playing Final Fantasy: Crisis Core for a while and then realized I'm reaching that point of no return and I've only completed 18% of my mission and half of them I can't even go back and get anymore...well...because I've gone beyond the game's actual point of no return. So I had to reset and go back and make sure to sit through and do my missions instead of being too eager to get through the storyline. So anyway, there I am in the same place I originally stopped at where Zack is helping zombie Cloud (OMG! Spoilers! :P Well, if you aren't already familiar with original FF7 story.) Zack sets Cloud down and shakes his spiky head and I see why he's called chicken head a lot. Then it dawns on me that Zack and Cloud are like the mother head and chick. And I could not stop laughing, which is the exact opposite reaction I should be having at this point in the Crisis Core game.
It's great seeing the younger version of almost everyone. I swear they made Cloud the youngest; most vulnerable looking out of everyone, even Yuffie had a lot more spunk. Younger than I would have imagine at the time. He looks like he still has some baby fat on his cheeks and that glazed look of innocence on his eyes but, I guess, that's exactly the effect they were looking for. Then you have the complete end of the spectrum: Reno looks exactly as he did in Advent Children, albeit a little paler. Exactly how old is Reno and how long has he been in the Turks? I thought he was same age as Cloud or Tifa but it looks like he's ageless.
Or did Square Enix just get lazy and forget to develop his character?
I looked around but didn't find my answer but did find some fun music videos and I guess I'm not the only one who feels Reno's stuck in an ageless time warp.
But this is even funnier: Reno bringing sexy back. However, the best version of course has to be from mother hen and chick :)
Anyway, back to Crisis Core, poor Zack... T_T
