Davos is in the kitchen as well, making himself a meal, and when he sees the sad young woman he greets her with a polite smile.

"Good day, my lady."

She looks over at him, forcing herself to smile at least a little.

"Good day."

"Davos," he introduces himself with a nod of the head.

[ohmaiden]

"And I am Iphigenia," she says softly, looking down a little.

[halfrottenonion]

"'Tis a pleasure, of course," he replies with automatic politeness. "I do not believe I have seen you before."

[ohmaiden]

"Yes, we have not met until now," she says, looking at her teacup. "What brought you to the Mansion--where did you come from, if I can ask?"

[halfrottenonion]

"I hail from Westeros," comes the reply. "Though no doubt that means little to you, my lady."

[ohmaiden]

"And I suppose you've never heard of Mycenae, sir," she replies.

[halfrottenonion]

"Aye," he agrees with a nod. "We are all strangers to each other here."

[ohmaiden]

"I suppose it's--nice, in a way, to not know anyone," she says, fiddling with her dress a little.

"There are worse fates," he agrees easily. "Though I am sorry, if you have no kin here."

[ohmaiden]

"I have my mother, but I haven't seen her in ages. Perhaps it's for the best, now."
