not that it's surprising...

Congrats, Peterborough.
A series well-played by the Petes.

You know.. I knew the Wolves wouldn't come out of this series victorious. But seriously.. A SWEEP?! ~.^ I don't get it.

I knew that they'd end up being eliminated, though I always hoped that they'd pull something off. The fact that they were swept just adds salt to the wound, y'know?

Yeah, I expected this to go to 6-7 games. If the 67's took the Petes to Game 6, I figured the Wolves could too! What happened? =S Penalties cost them?

And did Ben even get a POINT in this series? ~.^

Ultimately, yes. In OT, Mills got a five minute major/game misconduct for checking from behind, and it was during that PK that the Petes scored.

Ben didn't play the last two games due to an injury. Hedman was injured, too.

I checked the scoresheets, and I noticed a lot of penalties taken, and a lot of PPGs scored by the Petes. That hurts =S

O_O I didn't know that! What happened to him? Aww, poor thing.

Honestly, I think the big difference is that this series didn't involve the 67s. The Petes have always had trouble playing against Ottawa, and I had a feeling they'd do really well this series since the Wolves are such a defensive team, but the Petes have the offence to counter it.
