Nominate Peltier for Person of the Yearform
Here's my entry: (from the person who sent me this email from the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee website)
Leonard Peltier, America's Mandela, the never forgotten (in spite of
the media's indifference) Native American political prisoner who this
year completes 30 years behind bars for defending his people to
appease a vengeful and corrupt government agency. This year he was
also moved from prison to prison and held in solitary confinement for
six weeks, for no real reason and in spite of his old age and poor
health.
