Today has been pretty great!
I woke up at 10:47 this morning. I got on the computer and talked to Bobby and Megan, then hopped in the shower and started getting ready. Megan came over at about 12:20ish and then we skedaddled off to Smith Family Book's and it was an adventure there. Megan and I were going to sell some books, but the buyer is not there on Sundays, so we shall have to go back another time. We started bouncing back and forth between the all the authors, going to the front for "A", then the middle with "H", and to the back for "T". Megan got four books, two for herself I think and The Bell Jar for Keely and Adverbs (THE ONLY THING BY DANIEL HANDLER IN THE BOOK STORE, WTF?) for her penpal friend Anatha, that I think seems really charming and hilarious. I got four books, The Lovely Bones, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Holidays on Ice, and Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiograpjhy, all for $26 so I am relatively happy about that. I'm quite looking forward to reading all my books.
After we were done at Smith's we stopped off at Safeway for food because we both were very hungry. Megan got chicken noodle soup, and I got bacon bean soup, but we ended up just eating a bag of pizza rolls and drank grape juice. We ate and watched Coraline, which we were discussing out creepy the scenario is, and why the parents weren't worried that Coraline was having dreams about her "other parents" where she was much happier, and all of the foreshadowing that goes on at the beginning. Megan had work at 4:15, though, so she left at 4:05. I am going to surprise her and visit her while she is doing her games, because she is there until 10 o'clock at night, which is a long time to be keeping score of basketball games, lol. It will be fine for me though, since we do not have school tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, I have homework to do, and then Megan and I are going to go to a movie (which is still undecided, but I have to tell her movie times), and then we are going to go to Regional together. I am going to sit with her for her early games and then head on over to my court at 8 o'clock. We are done at the same time, so she is going to drop me off, which is good, because then she can show me the way home so that I do not get lost again.
I think in the meantime, and perhaps later tonight after I am finished visiting Megoosh at work, I am going to rearrange my room a bit. My bookshelf is getting crowded and that is semi bothersome. I also want to go through my closet, because I want to get rid of all the clothes I don't wear, which is kind of a lot. I need to take them all to Good Will and dump them or something. Really though, I'm kind of a minimalist and not a pack-rat like my parents, so everything important to me is already in a box of some sort. I don't like lots of things! And I feel that I have too much already; and since we are moving, I want to get rid of more crap I don't think I'll use/need in the future, which I think is smart.
Bobby is going back to school tonight, and that makes me kind of nervous. I dunno, I need to stop stressing about it.
Also, when Megan and I were in the store in the check out line.
I told her, "You know what I realized the other day? I did not write about my trip at all."
"No, no you didn't, you douche."
"I think I will do that soon."
Then we checked out and she gave me an affection peck on the head, which was pleasant and I enjoyed it.
I really need to stop spending money. I am not going to spend anymore after today, except maybe on some nice/cheap stationary for when I do that Penpal Party thing, which I hope starts soon!
