I have to say i'm utterly digusted by people nowadays.
I have a friend whom is bisexual, more so attracted to males, being male himself..
His family condemns such a thing.
They make homosexual jokes constantly. They openly talk about how much of a "sin" it is to be homosexual.
Yet they are completely oblivious to their son's homosexuality even so he has not had a girlfriend in all 19 years of his life.
He is so afraid to openly talk about his sexuality and is completely torn inside.
I know there are many people whom are exactly like this. They are afraid to come out in the open because of their close-minded "friends" and "family". Sorry, but someone who choses not to accept someone because of their sexuality, is just completely down-right wrong and frightful. As well as those who condemn it.... and more than likely have one or more relative/friend who is homosexual but afraid to come out of the closet due to their close-mindedness.
And I know a lot of "them" (as if people who condemn it) would say "Oh, no.. everyone I know has the same opinion as me" or something along that line, well... My friend plays along with his family. He sits there and agrees with what they say, although inside it truely hurts him.
I'm just so disgusted in the close-mindedness of this world today.
I understand that they have "religious stand-points" but to condemn a family or close friend because of their beliefs is like I said, utterly disgusting.
And I write this because I just got yet another IM from my friend saying how upset he is about the whole situation, because just now his father was cracking "jokes" on homosexuals.
