Does anyone know where Jeff Andonuts has gone to? I haven't seen him in a few days... And his room is remarkably spotless, not a scrap of material or misplaced tool to be found. Oh, is that all? He never told me a word... That Jeff! Running off without telling me nowadays... He should have at least left a note or a message- something for me to read so I didn't have to bite my nails off fretting about his whereabouts. I worry about him all the time and I'm sure I make that obvious enough!

You know him better than I do. His dad barely gives him the time of day. Why does he drop everything when Dr. Andonuts asks him to?

I think that deep down, he really admires his father. There must be something irresistible drawing him. Maybe... it's because Dr. Andonuts has been so scarce in his life that Jeff wants to go back.

Not to mention, I'm sure you know just how close they're attached on a biological level. Perhaps he really can't help being pulled along like a magnet whenever he calls for him?

To tell you the truth, neither do I. I'm not all that fond of my own father, so I don't feel any strong inescapable desires to visit him. Not that he's asked! He is just far too busy. We're so out of touch with each other, too. Yet, it's different for Jeff.
