Motown Winter Blast.. April '05
So this weekend was all kinds of unexpected crazy fun. After work on Friday we (Jessi, Cassidi and I) headed out to Soaring Eagle Casino/Hotel in Mt. Pleasant for Ben's birthday celebration. We drank a LOT and got really wasted on Friday night. We went to some bar and were there for forever, but I don't really remember being there that much, hahah. There was an afterparty in the hotel and we ended up hanging out with these 2 kinda off-beat characters that had just left some Cult they were in in Chicago. I don't know. They were weird and the one dude was telling me some crazy stories about his life. Yea.. anyway. We woke up Saturday with every intention of leaving that day, then we went out to lunch with Jenny and Deb and kinda decided we were going to stay till Sunday. Got a new room, called Dan, and he came and met us. We pretty much just lazed around all day, I took a little nap while they were watching The Life Aquatic, and apparently I was snoring loud. Hhaha, yes. We played some drinking games and then went down to the Casino. I had $5 left so I put it in a machine, and it lasted me for about 15 minutes, which is good for just $5. Dan on the other hand, was winning like crazy! I had to go back upstairs cause I was out of money, booo. Cassidi and I just watched Animal Cops and passed out. Yesterday we woke up at the ASSCRACK of dawn, 7am.. after little sleep, and came home. At least Dan and I got to stop at Cracker Barrel in Brighton.
After we got home I laid around the house all day. I watched pretty much the entire 4th season of Sex and the City on OnDemand, and one episode of The L Word, since I had never seen it. Then I kinda drifted in and out of consciousness for the rest of the day, till I finally went to bed at 11. It was a lovely day of not getting dressed or leaving the house. Perfect since as soon as we got home, the snow really started coming down. It was fuckin crazy, like December style. Today it's all melting away though.. crazy fuckin weather.. geez.
Tonight I am going to assist Cassidi in getting her mom tanked, cause it's her birthday.
I think I will stop now.
OH YEA.

1. Decemberists May 20!
2. Modest Mouse June 7th!
