Pies

I had a Fray Bentos steak & kidney pie for my dinner today. The f*cking c*nting things are really hard to open, it made me so angry. The metal edge is too deep for a normal tin opener which merely scratches the surface but luckily in the cutlery drawer we have an old WWII-style spike-on-a-stick type tin opener and I used that. The metal edges were all jagged so I transferred it into a spare pie-dish I'd saved precisely for that purpose as I've had trouble with these pies before. To transfer the contents I first had to carefully remove the pastry off the top. There was hardly any meat inside and yet when it was cooked there was loads of meat. Where the hell did it come from??? Is there some sort of meat-tardis hidden in my oven???
