My wife and I are going camping in the Hocking Hills/Logan area this coming weekend, and will be visiting Athens as well during that time. While we're there, we'd like to eat at some unique or at least interesting places in that area. Do any of you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help.

Personally, I didn't think much of Casa Cantina. I thought it was a little bland. If you want Mexican, I recommend Casa Lopez out on State Street. In addition to having really good food, they're fast, and their prices are reasonable. If you like Chinese, then I would say either China Fortune on Stimson Avenue, or Lam's Garden on State. Between the two I prefer China Fortune.
On Court Street there's The Diner, which is good if you like your basics. (My picks: chicken finger dinner and mint chocolate chip pie.) There's also a little place called Bagel Street Deli which makes about every sandwich available under the sun, all on bagels. It's better for lunch or breakfast, though. Not really a dinner spot. On Union, which intersects with Court, there's Skipper's, which is a bar and grill. I recommend the wraps, and the garlic mashed potatoes.
If you'd like a good cup of coffee after dinner, check out Donkey up on Washington. They're free trade, so their coffee is a little more expensive, but it's worth every penny. Great atmosphere, too.
If, by some chance, you don't feel like going all the way to Athens, there's a really cute little place in Nelsonville called The Coffee Cup. It's kind of on the outside of town. You'll see it as you come in from Logan. They have your basics - steaks, burgers, a few things with chicken, etc. There's also a good pizza place called Cristy's. If you go there, be sure to get a side of cheesy bread. I swear they have the best cheesy bread ever.
