it's a selfish thought but love is a selfish action. you do it because you love the person you can't continue without being by their side and even if it is one sided your happiness becomes their smile. your happiness throws itself completely one the other person depending on it. it becomes and opiate. highly addicitng and intoxicating. your love begins to poison the both of you. few people achieve an immunity to it and most gain the fevers and the deadly effects of it. the lucky ones even die from it. my love depends on your well-being. your smile the way your voice laughs slightly. the way you hate things but love them at the same time. and your so called in ability to love. your desire not to love makes me love you more. i am a masochist some would say but anyone who has loved is themselves both a sadist and a msasochist. i like myself most when i love you. you don't need to return my feelings just existing is enough for me. were you ever to love me i think i wouldnt be able to handle it. the milieu of feelings that would go through my flustred mind would destroy me. then you would be sad and if you are melancholy my love is to blame. my love is what would have killed us both. so please don't love me. keep telling yourself you can't love not just me but anyone. if you don't love anyone my heart won't become bitter with jealousy. please keep me sweet the way i am please keep me slightly deluded. keep me the way i like best. i love you becaue you are bitter. i love you because you are a pessimist. i love you becaeuse your smiles are few and when they do appear they are genuine. i love you because you need things i could go without. i love you because you told me to love you in your weakend state. i will take advantage of you please don't become weak. you told me that if i stayed beside you would be happy. contridcting your earlier statement of not wanting happines. if i am happiness then you do not want me. i believe you are fully capapble of love and fully deserving of it. you just don't believe so yourself. so i will stay beside you and guide to to a slightly better you. i love your faults and your virtues and want you to do the same. and maybe one day when we're both strong you can say i like myself most when i love you
