I find weather patterns bewildering. Not in the way that the platypus leaves me confused (though it does), but in its fickleness. If I were the people in charge of the weather, I'd think it would be more useful to pick spots where the rain could fall harder (or weaker). For example: flooding a house that's already on an incline (my friend David's house)? That's just silly. Flooding the insides of the Ernst & Young building at World Square? Well, why not? Who doesn't think a building full of viper accountants don't deserve it?
Sometimes I think rain should do something about maybe drowning all the McDonalds (what's the plural of that anyway?) across Sydney. Would anyone really complain? But leave the Subways alone. At least I can get a vegetarian meal at Subway.
