This LJ is now no longer taking in Friends
For months, I was thinking of making the LJ friends-only. Reason: my photobucket accounts' bandwidth have exceeded much beyond my expectation. The pictures have been hotlinked. But Cobweb and I understood that there are some people out there who had no LJs but yet would wish to oogle at pictures. Thus the LJ remained public.
The decision to lock up the LJ was finally made when Cobweb showed me an email from a mailing list. It was from a girl who posted a question about the origin of Orlando's ring after she saw one of our entries. The intention of the email was not malicious but she had named the source - ohiaminagony.
Cobweb and I have tried to remain as low-profile as we can within the fandom. Our online life is a escape from the RL issues that plague us. We have known many friends through LJ and we treasure these friendships. But with the email, our LJ would be exposed to the public eye, which is not what we wanted.
To retain some part of what privacy is left, this LJ is now friends-only.
Those with LJ accounts and who wish to be added, you may leave a comment, but please understand that we may not add you back.
Those who are already on our friends-list, please be assured that you will not be removed.
