Take your iPod or alternative, cheap, unfashionable, non-Apple MP3
player or even your music collection on your computer.
Pick a song, maybe one you like at the moment, doesn't really matter which one.
Using the alphabetic list of songs in your iPod/player/computer, list
that song and the following nine in alphabetical order. What do you get?
Swan Song A Fine Frenzy - I got Bomb In A Birdcage yesterday, and this is the song that really stands out for me. The lyrics are so beautiful, I've been playing it quite a lot. I'm so hopelessly addicted to A Fine Frenzy.
Sweat The Battle Before The Battle Sweats You Cute Is What We Aim For - Well. The recent demise of Cute has made me realise just how fabulous the first album was. Sure, this isn't the strongest song on there, but it is still good. And it reminds me of Hannah, because this entire album does.
The Sweet Escape Gwen Stefani - So many good memories of this song! I listened to it on repeat when we went to Cardiff, and it reminds me of our little jaunt to Manchester to see Gwen, which was just fabulous. Good times.
Sweet Misery Michelle Branch - I don't like this. I like the acoustic version, but I just can't get into this version at all. But the lyrics are still the same, and I like those, so...
Sweet Silver Lining Kate Voegele - I really really do like this song. It's uplifting and good and...I can't think of anything else to say.
Sweet Talk 101 Cute Is What We Aim For - I have nothing new to say about Cute. This song does remind me of playing rounders, however. And, god, I really wish I'd seen them live while I still could.
Sweet Valium High Charlotte Sometimes - Reminds me of last summer, and watching One Tree Hill and baking and putting the washing out...I've gone off her a little bit, but I do quite like this song.
Swing Taking Back Sunday - The more I listen to New Again, the more I like it. But I still don't like a bit of it. This is one of those songs I can listen to half of, but then get bored and but something else on. I do like it, I just don't think it's their best.
Symmetry Little Boots - I started listening to Little Boots yesterday. And I'm addicted. This isn't my favourite, but it's alright.
Symphony Marié Digby - Oh, I love this. Again, haven't been listening to her for long, but I think this is my absolute favourite of her songs. I sing it very loud when I'm home alone. This song is also, coincidentally, the last song under 'S' on my iPod.
hmm. interesting.
