I don't mean to be so strange.
Come, let’s be a little crazy tonight. Help me climb up the roof; take some strawberries with you, we can have them for later. It can’t be my roof though, the roof at my place isn’t accessible so.. it could be yours, or we’ll find someplace anyhow. It’ll probably be pretty filthy considering no one really cleans roofs (do they?) but that’s all right a little dirt can be fun sometimes. Let’s find the most comfortable spot possible to rest our tired legs; my knees have been hurting pretty bad these days. We could sit/lie side by side either way’s fine, but if we’re sitting, I hope you’ll lend me your shoulder ’cause that’ll be pretty nice. We could talk about… I’m not sure what really. Or we could just soak up the silence and watch the stars city lights glimmer against the opal night sky as I hold your heart in mine, and you hold mine in yours.
And at the end of the night, I’ll thank you for letting me know that in the end, everything will be all right.
